Mehler Shalom, DDS

Dr. Mehler is so absolutely wonderful. He is a very skilled dentist and such a nice man. His practice is small and feels very personal, leaving you feeling cared for and respected. He takes insurances and does good work. I would HIGHLY recommend him. Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had.

Dr Mehler is the BEST dentist I’ve ever had. I started going to him on a recommendation from a neighbor. After dealing with horrible tooth pain for a while, and dealing with a dentist that was causing me severe pain every time she put a drill in my mouth, I hesitantly made an appointment to see Dr. Mehler (I was petrified to hear what he was going to tell me). He gave me a quick painless cleaning and took several X-​rays to see what was causing the pain. Unfortunately I had to go for a root canal and possibly another one. I’m now finishing up my first root canal and it was absolutely painless through and through. But I was in for a shock when I realized how expensive a root canal was, but it needed to be done. Dr. Mehler, however saved my other tooth that was a possibility for a root canal. During one of my crown appointments, Dr. Mehler felt he might be able to save me a root canal on the other tooth since he had full access to the tooth right then and there. He did an amazing job and I can finally eat normally and without pain. I still have some other work to be done, but I have full confidence in Dr. Mehler that it will be done right and pain free. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone scared of the dentist, or had had horrible experiences in the past. Oh, and he NEVER runs late and does everything himself — no dental assistant.
