Finding a good barber is always difficult, which is why I am glad to have found Barry’s in Old Town, Golden Hills /​Tehachapi, CA.
New to the area I was in need of a new barber and happened to walk in to Barry’s. I am pretty particular about my haircuts and Barry does a great job.
I found everything I look for in a great barber shop is here:
1) Friendly Staff
2) Skilled Barber
3) Clean Facility
They are usually fairly busy but seem to be efficient at moving through clients.
To be honest, I haven’t been to another barber in town, but I at this point I don’t see the need to.

Barry does a great shave! Only $ 20, takes about 20 minutes. He puts a hot towel on before and after. My husband really liked it. He said he’ll get one every time he’s in town. Plus the shop has an old school Galaga arcade and candy.
