All Day Auto Repair & Smog

I was actually looking for another shop and walked into this one by mistake. That was the best mistake of my life! They have done everything from smog checks and oil changes to major repairs for me and my family.
One day after completing a repair on my daughter’s car, the owner, George, took my daughter and son to the side for about 20 minutes and showed them how to check tire pressure, how to check oil and fluids, explained the gauges on her car and other little things an owner should know to maintain their car. He has been a lifesaver to me on different occasions and made driving an old car pretty painless. I’ve sent several of my friends there and they all reported the same level of satisfaction and customer service that I receive. I’m glad to say that I finally dumped my old car for a much newer model, but they have earned a customer for life. George and his crew are the best!

Brought in my Nissan Xterra for smog. I have to say everyone was awesome and it was quick. 5 starts for customer service and the tech answered all my questions. Found my new local smog shop.

I was sent here by another smog shop because I needed a Star station for my 93 Toyota pickup. Channelle was very friendly and competent and they had my truck smogged within 15 minutes! Plus it passed and they have a pass or don’t pay policy which is awesome! If you’re going to spend $ 70 on a smog, might as well go here!

The repairs were awesome! The only knock I have on this place is that their communication is lax. It took them 2 weeks to fix my car, and I only heard from them once. I had to call them several times for update which they never replied back to. Other than that they were great…

Love this place! Amazing owner! They treat you like a friend not a pay check. It seems a bit crowded at times but WELL worth the wait. Ive been to many different car mechanics around the area and this place is by far one of the best in the area!

Our car did not pass the smog test which cost $ 67. Then we were told
the carb. needed to be rebuilt for $ 250 -$ 300. After we left the car to get it repaired,
we were told the car failed CAT test and we need a catalytic converter, oil change…$ 400. We choose to decline the repairs and had to pay $ 95 for labor.
We spent a total of $ 160
and we got zero accompished. Times are hard and that’s a heck of a lot of money
for nothing. Maybe we were just unlucky?

You know what sucks? Having a car that’s more than 15 years old. You know what sucks even more? Having your 15+ year old car fail a smoke test! Despite its old age, my car is in pretty good condition. But unbenounced to me, it had a cracked hose which meant I had an automatic fail on my smog test based on visual inspection alone. This also meant I had to take it to a Smog and Repair shop in order for it to be fixed so I could retest. I happened to be in the area and after a little research, I found this place on Unilocal.The reviews looked good, I called ahead and they said they could see me and complete the repairs same day, and they were offering a Unilocal deal. I was sold.
Went in and Cheyenne was the friendliest, personable receptionist ever! Super sweet and funny which made me feel comfortable. My car was looked at soon after and the tech showed me the crack before giving me an estimate. I had no choice as I needed to pass my smog. I waited a couple hours, watched some TV, ate some stale candy and by 5pm my car was ready. Repaired, smogged, and certificate in hand! If I lived in the area I’d certainly consider having this place be my go-​to mechanic shop. I liked the service and felt the price was fair.

Had only a few dealing with this company but I absolutely love the honesty and pricing from them. I never got my car serviced but I did have them diagnose a couple of problems and every time they found the problem and quoted me a good price to get the job done. all in all great service and I will continue to use them in future

I showed up at the end of the day and the parking lot was crazy. I was worried they wouldn’t be able to get to my smog check before close but they still managed to get me out in 20 minutes from the minute I walked in. They’re very nice and the service is great. I’m sending my husband here when he’s up for a smog check!

My grandson brought a work truck from Texas. The prospect of getting it changed into a California truck was daunting! I had already spent 4 hours at the DMV just getting the paperwork started. I then called around for a smog check. Cheyene was extremely personable and helpful, but I still fully expected to spend 4 hours in the smog shop also. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call within an hour stating that the truck was done and it had passed. Cheyene even looked up places for me to get the truck weighed, another California hoop to jump through. Now I just have to get it inspected and it will be be done. Thanks, All Day Smog!

These guys are great. Not only was the girl at the front extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with, my smog inspection only took 15 minutes! I definitely recommend and will come back.

My beloved dusty pickup truck needed to be smogged, again, thank you CA… and it required a STAR Certified smog station to do so. Did some searching, and came across ALL DAY.
Went in, explained my situation to the front desk, they then had a tech come and talk to me, and he seemed to understand where I was coming from.
They were incredibly reasonable with their pricing, lead times, and most of all didn’t try to sell me stuff I didn’t need or want.
The tech and I agreed upon what we thought would be the best course of action, and we set off to accomplish our goal.
LESS THAN 1 WORKING DAY LATER, my dusty truck that had failed a pre-​test, had been 1) diagnosed 2) repaired 3) re-​tested and is now CA smog compliant.
They even gave me a bit of a price break on the pre-​test after the fact. I told them they didn’t have to do that, to which they replied «that’s just how we thought best to take care of you»
Well shoot… I can’t say enough about these guys.
This is the kind of service that gets repeat business, referral business, and most importantly, my respect and admiration.

I just t left all day smog and auto repair and was very satisfied with the service and price I had to pay to get my timing belt replaced. As a matter of fact they changed the water pump for me at just the cost of the $ 50 no extra labor because I was advised that at 120k miles its better to do it know that the car was open.

I cannot begin to say enough. All Day Smog has been my families «go-​to shop» for many years and I will not go anywhere else.
George and John have always been honest, fair and understanding. The mechanics have always explained what the issue is and have given me the best advice and not a patch job just to get the car on the road. My cars are always delivered on time and humming along great!

I LOVE this place and John is amazing!!! I took my car into one place and was quoted $ 3000 to fix it. Long story short I brought my car to John. He immediately took my car in and started running tests but the best part was he did it with me there in the garage. He showed me everything he was doing and explained it all. He went step by step compared to the estimate from the other place. He was all about finding what was causing the over heating first before doing anything else to my car. Less than a $ 100 later my car seem great. I love how honest and up front he was with me. As a female I don’t really trust mechanics, so this was a great find! So if/​when my car needs anything else done John is the man I’m taking it to!

What a great shop! I think I jus found my regular mechanics!
I just had a transmission flush, and they had me in and out within an hour, even with multiple other customers. The girls at the front desk are really nice, especially since Im use to pushy people that try to get every penny out of your wallet by adding unnecessary work. They are probably the most honest auto repair shop I have ever been to, and with my little bucket car, I have been to alot. The prices are very reasonable, and there is no pressure to get any work done. Plus they have a Unilocal deal… what more can you ask for.
