Located in beautiful Temecula, CA, Artisan’s Palate is a gourmet gift shop and everyday market that discovers and celebrates the best small batch foods by boutique food makers. We curate seasonal and regional tote bags and baskets as gifts for food fans, and also sell our outstanding discoveries individually for the home cook. We share easy recipes, and inspiring food maker stories to connect you with your food.

Our kitchen allows us to make great Grab ‘N Go items along with making our unique chocolate and delicious tonics!

Business Owner

As an entrepreneur and executive, I’ve spent the past 25 years focused on technology. I’ve traveled most of the country and much of the world for business, and everywhere I’ve been I was fortunate to taste the bounty of that specific locale. Whether it was barbeque, clam chowder, pizza, gelato, pasta, wine, craft beer, biscotti’s or desserts, I’ve enjoyed all of it! As much as I’ve also enjoyed the fast paced energy and challenging demands of a career in high tech, I’ve decided to pivot and place that same level of energy into sharing my passion for food with you. I now want to take what I’ve learned about food and connect you with local artisans that focus on producing the highest quality products. Hence, Artisan’s Palate is born!

What a great little shop… Pia was so nice and greeted us right away and showed us around. She was very knowledgeable in our medical reasons to be paleo and helped us pick out some great items…
Her prices are a couple dollars less then I have seen in most health food stores so that is nice though I am going to warn you paleo is pricey lifestyle it’s just something you are going to have to get use to unless you have a farm of your own…
She makes daily lunch boxes that are 100% paleo and for $ 8 if I remember correctly…
She carries essence oils and bone broth and a several other hard to find items like ghee and paleo approved deodorant…
Will definitely be shopping here allot more thanks to my dear friends Lisa and Tony B. For the recommendation!

I love this store! It has all the specialty health foods that Sprouts/Baron’s/Organic Roots doesn’t carry. The owner is really nice and welcoming, and knew exactly what I was looking for. She let me taste almost everything before purchasing, which is a total plus!
My absolute favorites so far are the RX bars and ghee, as well as the grain-​free crackers. My husband likes the beef sticks. Everything is really good, though. It’s hard to find sauces and dressings without added junk, but there were so many to choose from here! Very happy with my purchases. I have seen a lot of these products online, but never wanted to pay shipping and/​or order in bulk. So it’s nice to finally be able to try a variety of new things in the exact amount I want.
The owner also makes fresh soups and lunches, which is good to know. I tried the soup last time and it was amazing! The classes they offer also look fun, and I hope to make it to some in the future.

Looking for access to the Farmer’s Market products 7 days a week? Artisan’s Palate is that place. It’s not often where I find a store that I love everything they have in it, the Artisan’s Palate lives up to this standard for me. I stumbled into this amazing and unique through a recommendation from a friend. The best way to describe their offering is the best products you’d find at your local farmers market in one store. Pia the owner works hard to bring only the best of the best products produced by local Artisans (within 100 miles of Temecula).

If you love nutrition and you care about the ingredients in your food you have to check this place out! Artisan Palate is a cutting edge store/​eatery that specializes gluten free non GMO super foods! They serve these tasty superfood elixirs as well as box lunches you eat in or take out. Honestly there should be more places like this! Love it!

Been shopping organic for years and keep updated on healthy eats throughout my travels. This is my favorite place to stop for vitamins and quick fix food ideas. Every time I go in, Pia (owner) consistently brings enthusiastic, new ideas and concepts for her shop and spends time answering all health concerns. The connection with the community and quality of time she gives everyone who walks through the door is so great! I can’t believe I haven’t left a review sooner! This is my absolute favorite store in the area for foods. The owner, Pia, is the sweetest, and most knowledgeable store owner I’ve ever met. Her passion for these products is so infectious! I always leave with a basket of items but never exceed $ 50. It’s way less expensive than Barons, Sprouts or any of the larger stores. Oh, and if you’re looking for a great gift, come see Pia! I did half my Christmas shopping here last year.

Whenever I want to get out of house the first place I go to is Artisan Palate. There are so many interesting food items, skin care, and very good/​clean nutrional supplements. I love the fact that you can sample the food items before buying, and they are all yummy and good for you. It is a treat to visit the Artisan Palate, fun place to explore and just get away

This is a wonderful and unique store for local gourmet food.. The owner Pia Maffei is outstanding ! I buy all my specialty foods, and health products here.
In addition, Pia is an expert at putting together wonderful and unique gift baskets. I have used her talents to put together wedding baskets, engagement gifts and she is currently looking at putting together picnic baskets for a unique baby shower.
Cannot recommend this store highly enough. Wonderful

I cannot write a great enough review! This is one of my favourite stores ever, not just in Temecula. i have a very special diet and i enjoy buying organic or special gifts for people but they’re always SO EXPENSIVE! Pia does such an amazing job at pricing them! I always leave with about 5 items and under $ 50. She also has things i can never find anywhere else. I’m soooo glad i found this little store!

This is a terrific little place for unusual, tasty, high quality food items. Everything is from «small batch» makers and the quality shows. I’ve tried three of their cheesecakes — they are savory molded cheesespreads that are used for appetizers. They are reasonably priced, and just delicious for parties with a cracker assortment (especially the Newport and the Godfather!). I also love the teas and the pastas too. For gifts at Christmas I made baskets with the gourmet peanut butter spreads and jams for a DIY gourmet PBJ. My friends really enjoyed something new that they had never seen anywhere. I would like to see this store stay! You can just pop in there any time and pick up something unusual and delicious and the owner, Pia, will gladly give you recipe ideas, as well as tastings.

This is nice little joint located by the KMart. The proprietor is into the 100 mile and gluten free items. I just ordered some cheese dishes from her for a holiday party (all that I sampled were excellent). There is not a lot of variety, but what she does have is good.

This store is a hidden gem in the big shopping center that houses Hobby Lobby and Kmart. I am impressed at the range of unique and tasty items I find at this store. I could not find these items anywhere else. The store also carries food items recommended by Oprah and other celebrities. My favorite items are the Hog Heaven BBQ sauce, the egg white chips and the Almond Water!
It’s an ideal place to find one-​of-​a-​kind gifts or even indulge myself with delectable treats! And the best part of it all? The owner, Pia, donates part of the proceeds to support charities. Who doesn’t want to support great causes? I highly recommend this shop! It’s definitely worth the trip.

I am a huge fan of this store! Pia Maffei, the store owner invited me to try a slew of delectable samples! Many of the items are one-​of-​a-​kind and most are made by local artisans. I am in love with the IPS chips — they“re made with egg whites so they are packed with 7 grams of protein. Also, they have gluten-​free items — so I am in heaven!
Pia is the consummate proprietor whose excellent customer service skills make you feel instantly welcome and comfortable. No high pressure sales here! You feel like you’re visiting an old friend. I highly recommend this store to all my family & friends.

This is THE place to get a unique and delicious gift that will be remembered by the recipient. Almost everything in the store comes from within a 100 mile radius. Everything I have tried from there is delicious. And all gifts I gave with these items got raves. I love the coasters and other products made with Temecula winery corks too. Very unique and beautiful detail. Be sure to ask Pia for the story behind the item or check the tablet to make that connection.
