Got two ribeye’s for carry out, ended up with bland, poorly seared, undercooked and possibly freezer burned cuts of beef that were WAY overpriced. I Couldn’t even take a second bite, and I’m not even a picky eater. Only thing edible was the salad. $ 58, not including a tip, for steaks that were given to the dogs.

I’ve been here a few times and I would normally rate everything to be 4 stars… BUT tonight we had Jared as our server and it was fantastic! My aunt is visiting from CT and had a great time. Great food, great atmosphere, and Jared topped it off with his great personality and humor. She loved it. Thank you!

Salad came after main dish? Weird right? But all in all very nice. Really enjoy the atmosphere.

This was a great experience. Seriously, we went wine tasting and stopped off here because it was close. The service Shannon gave us made us feel like we were in a 5-star restaurant. Seriously, the best service I have seen in a long time, if ever. I’m willing to go out of my way to go again and receive service like what we got

Just came back from a late lunch there. Service was O.K., but food was not what we expected at all. The bbq. pork rib dinner was overcooked and too dry. We had to send it back. Then, we ordered the country fried steak which was too salty due to the gravy. The shrimp on the Ultimate fish and shrimp dinner were too small and had too much batter on them. Basically, the only food that was good was the salad bar, cheese bread and drinks. Also, took a long time to check out even though not busy. The waitress should have explained our bill a little bit, because we thought we were charged for the ribs that was taken back when we weren’t. She should’ve shown us that when first dropped off the bill. Because of all this, we will not be coming back anytime soon.

My fiancé and I went to Claim Jumper for the first time about 3 weeks ago and have gone every Friday since. They’re happy hour is great and they have the best bread, tortellini, and desserts. I highly recommend their Salted Caramel Mud Pie. DELICIOUS!

Once again excellent food and service. This place never fails us. I should’ve taken a picture of the food because it looked great too. The happy hour deals are the best. Our server Kristen was very sweet and brought us everything we asked for quickly. So much better than Marie Calendars food. ‘ll never go there again with Claim Jumper right across the street.

Easter brunch buffet was delicious. Had reservations and was told was 45min to 1 hour behind times and they would text when ready. Instead of sitting there getting mad like all the other customers. I needed to run a errand. Well they text me 15 minutes later which if standing there waiting would have been better but being told 45 – 1 hour wait I wasn’t standing there. They did seat us shortly after I returned but had to wait saying I didn’t respond quickly enough after text. Whatever food was good, select was large. Price wasn’t that bad for Easter buffet compares with winery’s near by and food was for sure better than those.

Stopped here on the way home to SD. Started with the salad bar, which was fresh and had a good variety of selections. My boyfriend had the tortilla soup to start and we shared that, OMG so good. I loved the soup, and so did he(and he’s not a soup person at all). For the meal, I had the country fried chicken, which sorry claim jumper used to be way better. It is a huge portion, and its ok but not what it used to be. The chicken crust was a little dry but nothing horrible and the gravy seemed a big like the packets(I know I cheated once and used those, not again. I will make from scratch). But other than that, everything was delicious. ESPECIALLYTHEIRHUGECHOCOLATECAKE! We took the cake home and shared it with a big glass of milk, and their was still some left over. The diet can also start Monday right?

Mom loves beef ribs and she was not disappointed. Thanks Felix for making sure she left with a smile. Also, thanks to our waitress that had a beautiful smile and awesome personality.

Greedy people. It is a holiday and they have a buffet. They are telling lies to everyone about the wait time, if the wait is an hour and 10 minutes past your reservation and you know it then don’t say it is 30 minutes! Because they have overbooked the food trays were for the most part empty, other foods were undercooked as they were trying to keep up with demand. I tried to keep cheerful about it but I am really annoyed. Terrible job Claim jumper.

Came here this evening after I found out Friday’s ran out of endless boneless chicken! After being disappointed with their service we decided to come to Claim Jumpers! And omg was I happy we did. They had happy hour until closing which was awesome, their food was amazing! So fresh and yes they had wings!!! Plus the quality of food was way better here but what made our night was our service we received from Shannon! She was so sweet, professional, and proficient! I would absolutely come back!!! Claim Jumpers is very lucky to have a server like Shannon!

Best blackened chicken ceaser anywhere. The service here is amazing. Fast and friendly service and they really care about their customers. The appatizers here are so good that when your food comes you’re full The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. You won’t be disappointed in Claim Jumper!

I’m giving Claim Jumper 3.5 stars because every time I come here I just have an alright experience. The food is pretty decent, the portions are great and the chocolate mother load cake is meant for two people. When I come here I usually get the burger which I think is very tasty and pretty big. I love a good burger and they have that here at Claim Jumper. I don’t come here that much but when I do I can’t wait to have the chocolate cake. Claim Jumper has been around for years and I will definitely come here when I’m in the mood for an amazing slice of chocolate cake or a good burger.

Okay, just spent $ 34.55 on dessert to go. Italian lemon cake(awesome), 6 layer chocolate cake(awesome), cornbread(awesome), two red velvet cakes… I think they gave me the displays! They are super hard and honestly, over baked. We haven’t been here in about 2 years because of a rude waitress. Now, we go and what… the velvet cakes suck!

Wow! Who would have thought Claim Jumpers would have such a fun Happy Hour! The drink and food were great! I’ve always loved the big portions for lunch and dinner, but this was my first Happy Hour… It was lively and a real surprise when I got my bill to find that Bam! The bill was way less than I thought! Always a good thing! Kudos to this fun family chain!

Went to support my husband at the Spartan Run this past rainy weekend. I stood in the cold rain waiting for him and my brother and friend to finish. We were so hungry, so we came to Claim Jumper and were seated quickly. Because the place was so busy — because the power was out in Old Town Temecula, we had to wait a little bit, but it wasn’t bad. I got the baby back ribs with coleslaw and clam chowder. The clam chowder was good. The coleslaw was meh, skip it. The ribs were good. Came right off the bone. My brother got mash potatoes… they were also meh. Overall, the place has good food for the right amount.

Everything about this place is meh except for some of the food options. Food is OK at best. It certainly is over-priced for the quality. I am not immensely picky, so if food is gross to me, I imagine it is worse for others. Shrimp Fresca is bland. Clam Chowder is way too salty. The service is not prompt or professional. Our waitress took too long to do anything. We needed to ask for bread. When a component of our food was missing, the waitress blamed the busser. When we asked the busser, she blamed the waitress. I didn’t think it was professional either way. There are way better options in the area. Save yourself the trouble.

I used to love Claim Jumper. I’m so disappointed with what it is now. The food was horrible! I ordered the coconut shrimp. It’s was a handful or so of over fried crisp shrimp on a massive bed of fries. I couldn’t even get through one. The salad bar was sad. And the few things I did try from the salad bar didn’t taste fresh at all. I tried other plates that my family had ordered and was just as disappointed in them. The portions are small with the exception of ridiculously stuffing the plate full of fries. The server was kind but they just put a pitcher of water on the table and don’t bother checking in again til the check. The prices are way too much for the food and experience you get in return. Claim jumper has broken my foodie heart.

This restaurant is located in a plaza where there is a black angus near by, but where I’m from, claim jumper isn’t a common household name, so we decided to have lunch here. Came with a group of 8 and waiting approx. 20 mins, which isn’t too bad. When we sat down, Jill was our waitress. She was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the menu choices and specials. We started with the appetizer sampler that consisted of spinach artichoke dip, southwest egg rolls, mozzarella sticks, and fried zucchini. I am an avid sampler guy, but quite frankly the only good thing about this sampler was the southwest egg rolls, and they only give you 2! I ordered the ribeye, medium with mashed potatoes and clam chowder. The clam chowder was rich and thick, and full of its ingredients. The ribeye was cooked a little medium well, but still good.(I mean come on, it’s a rib eye) the ribeye was also a little over seasoned because my pallet was overwhelmed w/the pepper seasoning rather than the beef taste. The best part of this experience was our server. If it wasn’t for Jill, I would have rated this a 2 out of 5. Jill was very attentive and treated us as if we were the only people there. I’m sure if she can make us feel that way, she can do the same for other customers. Do I believe this is the experience each and every time? Probably not, but I definitely expected more from this chain, considering they come from a restaurant family such as Bubba Gump Shrimp and the Rainforest Café.
