Our daily narrated public tour follows a scenic route as entertaining, knowledgeable guides engage with guests sharing Temecula history, local Native American lore, enchanting area nuances, plus details about Temecula’s AVA and the culture of wine.

Perfect for anyone, novice to enthusiast, with an interest in California wines and history, you’ll hear the back-​story of this fascinating area in a fun, informative fashion.

The tour includes free time in Old Town Temecula, wine tasting at three Temecula wineries, and a gourmet picnic lunch served to our guests during the first winery visit.

This intimate experience typically includes 15 guests or less. Departures are offered from many lodging establishments in San Diego, Anaheim and Temecula.

History

Established in 1993.

The company was started as a way to provide assistance to visitors who had an interest in exploring Southern Califonia Wine Country, the Temecula Valley. Initially our company’s efforts revolved around arranging all facets of a group activity from setting up round-​trip transportation from any Southern California location, wine tasting, food service, and overnight accommodations in the Temecula area.

In 1999 we began offering a narrated wine tasting tour for the general public starting in the morning from San Diego area hotels and lodging establishments, and including wine tasting and lunch for residents and visitors in the San Diego and Temecula areas.

In 2005 we added winemaker teambuilding programs for our corporate and convention clients with round-​trip transportation from any Southern California location.

In 2009, we added a daily tour, similar to our program from San Diego, but originating from lodging establishments in the Anaheim area.

Meet the Business Owner

Dave W.

Business Owner

A native of Seattle, Washington, Dave graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. A veteran in Hotel Sales and Marketing, he worked in four diamond hotels in Seattle, Washington, D.C., Houston and Austin, TX and then was the opening DOSM at the brand-​new Doubletree Suites Hotel in Temecula in 1991.

Becoming ingrained in the fledgling Temecula tourism community, Dave founded, then chaired for two years the first Temecula Valley Tourism Council before there was a CVB.

During his chairmanship he conceptualized, wrote the text, and sold the advertising for the first two Temecula Valley Visitors guides.

Through this experience he realized opportunities that were available to assist visitors and residents throughout Southern California interested in exploring the relatively (at the time) unknown Temecula Wine Country and started his company when the corporate-​owned Doubletree hotel was sold to an Embassy Suites franchisee in 1993.
