Jack In The Box

Funny how they have a high chair but not a diaper changing station! What kind of place is this one? Isn’t supposed to for all the family?

I know I’m going to lose my «Yelp street cred card» for this but I have to be honest. Also, I almost gave 5 stars but then I came to my senses: its fast food!
I rarely review fast food unless there’s something really wrong with it as in the case when I reviewed the Ramona Jack in the Box. Fast food is one of those items that you get what you deserve when you buy it and eat it.
That must be why I’m writing this review. The restaurant is sitting by itself at the end of the road off the 15. I went to the drive thru but I could see inside that the restaurant was large and very clean and almost looks like a Winery building. The server was very friendly, polite and professional. He let me know in polite terms that my with food would be up in just a minute and I was in no great hurry so the minute was fine.
I ordered a couple of buttery Jacks on a coupon. This time, as opposed to the last time in Ramona, the hamburgers came out looking like they were straight out of a picture. Expertly packaged and wrapped, the buns weren’t crushed, and everything was fresh and correctly assembled. The meat was about as fresh as I’ve ever had Jack in the Box meat. The buns were toasted to crisp but not burnt and the cheese was melted but not running all over the place. If there was any thing to pick out as wrong I would just say that the bacon was a little bit on the thin side, but hey, what do you expect for $ 2.50.
In retrospect, I’m thinking this might be a corporate model store. If that’s true, then this is the Jack in the Box that everyone should eat at even if you have to go miles out of your way.

5 stars for a fast food joint? Yep, they really pay attention to the quality of the food and are super friendly. You would be lucky to have Sidney or Sydney take your order. They are well trained, knowledgeable and make you feel like you’re the only customer there, even when they’re busy. Keep up the good work Jack!
