Something About us, since 1991 Kilter Termite And Pest Control has operated on the premise that treating termites is a better solution than expensive wood replacement. This obvious conclusion was reached because the founder of Kilter worked for several years as a carpenter, replacing termite damaged wood. He saw first hand the extensive damage created by long-​term termite infestation, and improper treatment. Believing that termite companies were not getting the message to the homeowner and that much unneeded fumigation was being done, he formed Kilter as an answer to these problems.

Kilter is the best pest control service in California. I first had this company last fall when I had serious mice problem last summer and now the situation is just a history. My cats and I were definitely happy with the result because there are no mice that would bother us and scare my cats away. Just recently, I saw a buckled paint on my wall and I immediately assumed it was caused termites. So I called them to confirm whether my hunch is wright or wrong. Fortunately, the inspector told me that I was wrong with my assumptions. There were no termites and no signs of any wood chewing creatures. It was just the humidity causing my paint to buckle. Though he didn’t suggested any service and he wasted is time, I was really glad he came and did the inspection for free. If I have another reason to call Kilter, I would do so because of their good service.

Can someone tell me what’s going on?
I called on Saturday to make an appointment for an inspection. The phone representative booked the appointment for Tuesday at 9am. I was told I would receive a call back.
No one called back, so I called again later the same day. The phone representative said it was strange that I wasn’t called back because, «They are in the office today.»
No one showed up at all on Tuesday and I still have not received a call back. I called twice on Tuesday but got voice mail both times.
I have just sent a message to Kilter via Unilocal.According to Unilocal,Kilter responds to emails within three days – That seems a bit slow to me.
I am rating three stars, to give this company the benefit of the doubt.
I will update this review when I hear back from Kilter. But at this stage, I’m not impressed and I’m wondering how to get my money back for the Unilocal deal that I purchased in anticipation of the good service I expected from the two 5-​stars Unilocal reviews posted for this company.

Is 5 stars really enough? Aaron, the manager of this local business, is a fantastic guy. Moreover, the service and the pricing of Kilter are fantastic as well. Kilter is a great business and you can definitely trust them to fix your pest problem without any issues. My problem was termite infestation, which has gone beyond control. No problem for Kilter — they solved and totally protected my property after several treatments. I was truly amazed to see one of them crawling underneath the crawl space of our property just to treat the affected areas. They even gave me before and after pictures of their treatment. It was very professional and totally worth it!
