NYA events is an event designing and planning company started by Jaleh Naasz in Southern California.

Jaleh’s prior work experience is in the fashion design industry where she became very experienced with graphic design software and enjoyed organizing photoshoots and working on runway shows. NYA events specializes in themed and custom events.

We can be brought on any step of the way, but are fully prepared to do everything from the initial concept meeting, logo and invitation design, modern slideshow and video creation of pictures and home movies, budgeting, vendor research, décor design, apparel selection, event set-​up and day-​of assistance.

Everyone has their own style, which is why we believe every event should be different. You can collaborate with us on inspiration via pinterest or meet over coffee and look at magazine cut-​outs. Each event is unique and special so we focus on the details and design it to reflect the individual it is honoring.

History

Established in 2012.

Jaleh received her BS in Business Management in 2003, her MFA in Fine Arts in 2006 and has worked in the fashion industry as a designer and college instructor until 2012.

In 2012, she realized what keeps her up at night and brings out her creativity is working on baby shower invites and event designing for friends and family. After a number of over the top events, her move to Temecula wine country, she decided to start doing this on a larger scale.

Business Owner

Jaleh is a unique combination of planner and on-​the-​spot thinker, as much as she loves to attend celebrations, she enjoys the planning and preparing for them weeks or months before hand even more.

Moving to the US from another country at a young age has made Jaleh very adaptable and extremely hard-​working. She is outgoing and social; and while few would describe her as «nice», she gets along easily with people and has a way of creating long-​term relationships and networks of people everywhere she goes.

She is not easily overwhelmed and can be a great negotiator when hiring vendors.
