History

Established in 1989.

My construction experience started in the early 80’s working in down town San Diego doing historical restoration. The company I work for was pivotal in the rebuilding of the Gas Lamp district. I soon began working as a residential framer, building housing tracts all over San Diego and Riverside counties. This experience helped greatly when I moved to residential remodeling and learning about the framework of a house. I also spent several years working on commercial tenant improvement projects building restaurant and retail stores in regional shopping centers and strip malls

I have never had a positive experience with a contractor until now. Robb and his team were hired to build in a patio and while they were there were kind enough to add electrical boxes for 2 ceiling fans and put closet doors up for my daughter. They were professional from start to finish showed up on time and left the place cleaner then when they started and here’s the kicker under what they quoted for the job. Highly recommend and will be doing more work with in the future.

Robb and his team remodeled my master bathroom. It looks beautiful! Quality of work is great and his team (Chris and Brian) were always on time, professional and friendly. They were also nice to my kids which is important to me as well… :) I will be calling Robb for my next house project and referring him to my friends and neighbors.

Never got to see how his work was… He quoted me on flooring, bath/​shower, and granite countertop installs. Received some other quotes along with his and he developed a bad attitude as if I would have the audacity to shop around for a good price. Dropped him from consideration when the poor attitude emerged. As long as you don’t try to make sure the numbers are legit, I’m sure he’ll be nice as he’s robbing you blind. I had two rooms quoted for laminate flooring from someone else for 1900. Rob had it for 1400 but I had to supply the flooring. I told him to buy it and include in quote. He came up with $ 3500!!! $ 2100 for the laminate materials for two small rooms. Get the hell out of here. I told him about it and asked that he revise or delete from the order. He gave me the silent treatment because he apparently didn’t like being called on his BS. Rob likes to rob people blind. His first name is certainly appropriate. Good riddance.

Robb Nimmo promises the highest quality at a fair price and he delivers! He has done ‘emergency’ work for us when we ran into water and mold damage after a storm. Pulled extra hours to help us out. A full remodel of my kitchen is on the agenda for early next year and you can bet Robb will be the contractor I choose.
