Meet the Business Owner
James C.
Business Owner
Jim C. has a unique vision for each guest that visits in winery resort in Temecula Wine Country: South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is a place where guests can come to enjoy fine wines, great food in a beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards.
The dream for South Coast began more than two decades ago. Jim’s father encouraged his son to purchase 400 acres in the Temecula area for a campground. Jim purchased the land in 1981; but more than a decade would pass before it realized its potential. In the mid-1990s, Jim saw a movie that would forever change his life.
«A Walk in the Clouds» was the story of a thriving vineyard in a mountain valley, much like Jim’s 400-acre in Temecula. Inspired by the movie and time spent in the vineyards, Jim decided to create his own vineyard and winery.
Today, Jim oversees some of the finest vineyards in the Temecula Valley that have earned South Coast Winery the title as the Best Winery in State of California for three out of the past five years.
