I have been in private practice since 1991. My areas of practice are Bankruptcy; Wills, Living Trusts and Estate Planning; Probate and Trust Administration; and forming Corporations and Limited Liability Companies. The initial consultation is always free and my attorney fees are extremely competitive. I have satellite offices located in Rancho Bernardo and San Marcos as well and will do home appointments when the situation demands that.

History

Established in 1991.

I opened my own law practice in 1991 to help regular consumers with their basic legal needs. I form living trusts and write wills, do probate and trust administration and help consumers file chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases.

I have represented over 1000 consumers since I first began my law practice. I always provide a free consultation and do most of my work on a flat fee basis. My prices are very competitive and payment plans are always available. I take visa, mastercard and american express.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1984. I passed the CPA examination in 1985. I graduated from California Western School of Law in 1989 in the top 10% of my class. I won numerous scholastic awards in Law School as well. I am married with two kids and I live in Tierrasanta. My hobbies are football, exercise and traveling when I can.

We found him via other Unilocal reviews and decided to go ahead and get our estate planning done. His online video was very informative to begin with. We met and went over a few things and he came to the conclusion that because we would be moving and ultimately have residency in another state in the near future, it wasn’t worth our money to do all of the estate planning with him now. He told us to save our money and wait. I appreciated the honesty and not wasting our money! I would have loved to work with him if we wouldn’t be moving.

My wife and I were considering attorneys for a living trust by typical means — referrals, ratings, web searches etc. At the same time we were trying to educate ourselves on the process and luckily my wife found a video showing Steven Bliss in a workshop teaching the process. We were so impressed that we called and found his pricing to be exceptional. At that point is was a no-​brainer and we got started with Steve. He exceeded our expectations in every way. He provides a video on his website to familiarize you with the basics of planning your will and trust so that you are informed before your first consultation. I’ve worked with Steve for over 12 years! He helped my husband and I set up our Wills & Trust, which with both of us having children from a previous marriage seemed rather complicated. Steve walked us through the process seemlessly and we are forever grateful! He also taught a class at my work (How I originally met him) where is explianed in lay persons language how a trust works, and why it is important. Basically, he is a gentleman, with a sweet personality, who rocks at his job!
