Temecula Valley Driving School

I saw one of their vehicles driving in my neighborhood (we are a gated community with private roads) and I was curious as to why they were driving back here. I took a picture of the car so I could get the company’s phone number from the magnetic sign affixed to the door. The instructor rolled down his window and screamed that I «wasn’t allowed to do that». I informed him that I was allowed to take his picture and I was curious as to why he was driving on our private roads. He simply could’ve said, «the student is a resident here». End of conversation. But he didn’t. He yelled, I called him a dip wad and he exited the vehicle (student still inside) and in a menacing manner approached me. I told him I was done and that I would take it up with his employer. After telling me the student was in fact a resident of the neighborhood he continued to be verbally aggressive and ultimately threatened to harm my dog and call my wife… seriously. Who does this?
I continued my walk around the neighborhood and lo and behold, 15 minutes later, he stops his car alongside me and says, «my student’s not with me anymore do you have anything else to say?» I ignored him and kept walking. He then said, «yeah that’s what I thought you pu**y… You better keep walking or I will f**k you up.»
I called 911 at that point because he had exited his vehicle again and physically threatened me. When I told him I had called the police he got in his vehicle and left. Unbelievable.
Parents: don’t let your children be assigned an instructor, insist on meeting them before you let your kids get in the car with them. One Bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch but it sure can leave a poor first impression.

Received a call from the owner this morning. Professional, a little embarrassed, conciliatory and very kind. Obviously, he was incredibly disappointed in his employee and I’m certain that that employee will be dealt with accordingly. It’s hard running a successful, fast-​growing, small business. Sorry I had to meet the ‘one bad apple.“
My first impression is tempered by a professional, appropriate response.

Never attended this driving school, but was completely disgusted by one of their instructors. I was driving with my wife and two week old son when a Blue Sentra with Temecula Valley driving school signs on the side of the car was tailgating me for a few miles on highway 76 heading towards Oceanside. We were driving the speed limit along with everyone else (55 mph) when the Sentra was driving so recklessly. I will admit after miles of being tailgated I did apply my brakes to make it known to get off my bumper. That’s when the driver in the Sentra started threatening me mouthing the «F» word and flipping me off while continuing to tailgate us. When I moved over to the other lane he proceeded to pull along side of us and start flipping me off and telling me to pull over so he could kick my ass all for going the speed limit! You would think as a driving school you would obey the laws of the road! It was just a complete embarrassment to Temecula driving school and really showed what kind of instructors they hire. I would never recommend this place and I have not even attended the school!

This review is not based on the content of the lessons or the courtesy of the staff but the behavior of the instructor. As a parent, I was shocked to personally see (and hear about) the instructor making inappropriate comments and jokes to his captive audience of teenagers. I try to teach my kid about appropriate behavior and communication, about boundaries and so on. I was embarrassed that this adult would take his teaching time to make offensive jokes (about dead Mexicans… I’m not making this up), political comments, social comments, derisive statements and so on. I can only imagine how uncomfortable he must have made some of the students feel. I wish I could have pulled my kid out of the class but it was not fair to her not to complete all the courses. For $ 299 I expect professionalism and appropriate instruction. You would never hear me or anyone I know speak that way at our places of work. I hope the staff and instructors take this review seriously and stop roping the students into offensive discussions and jokes. It was dismaying to watch.

My wife and I looked online for my daughter this year to help in the process of getting her license. We called 3 schools and none answered. Within 5 minutes got a call back from Temecula valley and the guy could not be nicer. Walked us thru all the steps she needed to do, the amount and when they could do it. She got her permit, called them to let them know (because the permit is not valid until their instructor signs it) they had Desiree out there the next day. She was a great instructor! My daughter passed her driving test today with 92%
It’s a family run business and they all were so nice!

We had looked for a driving school with service and value and found it. The owners were helpful and took the time (no matter what time of day) to answer the phone, help us with questions and setting up our appointment for behind the wheel. The instructors were on time, gave our son the amount of time scheduled, and prepared him for the test (Driving the course he would be tested on). Our son passed both the written and driving test 1^st time. We were VERY PLEASED with Temecula Valley Driving School. THANK YOU!!!
