Our mission is Local Fashion, Global Passion.

Our priority is to offer local designers and/​or products for a cause whenever we can. In addition we stay on top of the trends while keeping it affordable to our customers. We carry many one-​of-​a-​kind items, so if you see something you like, grab it because it likely won’t be there on your next visit!

In our boutique you can find men’s and women’s casual attire, party attire, and work-​to-​happy hour clothing. We specialize in unique jewelry pieces, handbags, hats and watches. Top it off with your favorite pair of TOMS!

Examples of products we carry that give back are: TOMS, Pura Vida and Minga Fair Trade just to name a few. Examples of some local designers that we carry are: Sarah Madeline, Madalyn Nault, Nazari, State Fortyeight, Mabella Chic, and Women’s Touch Apparel.

We are the only shopping location in downtown Tempe with our own parking lot and it’s FREE. No meters!

History

Established in 2002.

I, Julie K., bought the store in 2011 from two lovely gals-​Lisa and Sharla. I absolutely love Tempe. I can ride my bike to the store, my kids’ school, and for a night out. The store has evolved to include more locally made items and we even have a thriving men’s line.

Hello! I’m Julie and I’m the proud owner of here on the corner. Though I’m originally from NY, I’ve lived in AZ most of my life.

I’m an ASU alum and love that my store is directly across the street from ASU. Never in a million years did I think I’d own a store. But, the opportunity presented itself and I grabbed it. There are opportunities all around us, we just have to see them and be open to them.

What do I love most about owning a store? My staff! We are a family that chose each other! I love mentoring them and helping them reach their highest potential and do things that they never thought they’d do working at a boutique.

HERE is a cool little shop. I liked the locally-​sourced products combined with their sunbelt-​inspired assortment for men and women. The jewelry and other unique items in the store make this a great place to visit if you’re traveling and looking for something with local flavor to take home as a gift, and especially if you’re into supporting the smaller indy boutiques!
With such a friendly staff, I was really hoping I’d find the perfect thing to take home to my wife, but I didn’t land on anything. Regardless, I would definitely stop here next time I’m in Tempe in search of something, as it was the best spot I had come across for such items during my brief visit to the area, and I’d love to support the shop. Until next time…

I loved this store when I was going to ASU! I would stop in there when I was between classes. They have a great selection of women’s accessories and clothing. They carry local artists which is great. I just wish the store was a little larger so there was even more to look at! I miss going there. I just might have to make a trip.

cute little shop near ASU. Not much for men’s stuff but a lot of items to shop for in women’s. I like that they have all local things being sold there and the girl that was working was nice enough to sell me the display shirt that I wanted.

This place has such awesome gifts and souvenirs. Most of mill ave is filled with your normal ASU tee shirts, and AZ keychains. But this little shop has seriously unique gifts that your friends/​family back home would actually value. In our case, we picked up a few hand made greeting cards, and months later, they’re being used for decoration!
My wife is constantly making us detour over here from Mill Ave. She loves their accessories too. They’re practically all she’s been buying lately. Quick tip though, they rotate their inventory pretty quick, so if you find something you like, move fast.
In a world where even boutique shops have become mass produced, it’s refreshing to find an actual local small business. Better yet, one that supports other local businesses /​artists. It’s like Shopping Local… squared.

Today I went into Here On the Corner. My friend had worked there previously and I thought its always better to support locally. So I went into the store excited to commit to the local community. As I walked in there were quite a few people inside I walked around saw a few dresses I was going to buy. But as I turned around one of the workers came up to me and said «today is a little bit of a busy day and I know you are not going to buy anything. So if you could just leave.» So I kindly left because I definitely did not want my money going to a rude and inconsiderate prejudice place. They claim to be helping the community and great causes but that doesn’t sound very compassionate. I dont suggest this is the place to put your hard earned money into. Over priced, rude, and prejudice.

Okay, this place has really adorable trendy clothes most of which is local. I really appreciate that part. It is pretty pricey though but usually I ride by it on my way home from work most days and I can see if they have deals.
The reason I gave it three stars rather than five is because of the woman who works there. She wears a scarf around her head and she hovers like nobody’s business!
I understand as a business you want to keep an eye on customers because there are dishonest people in this world but I went in there twice and both times I felt so uncomfortable and pestered.
I had made a lot of money in tips that day and I wanted to check out the twenty percent deal they had going on. The woman with the scarf around her head asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and I said no just looking, that’s when she became my shadow.
It’s a small store and you can usually see what’s happening. So why does she feel the need to stand two feet away from me everywhere and stare me down? I found an adorable little purse and decided I wanted to look at some sandals. My shadow was right behind me and asked me if I was looking at shoes.

Duh, I was standing right in front of the shoes shelf holding a shoe box. Then after an awkward exchange I started to try
them on she stood right in front of the mirror, again two feet away from me, staring. I got so irritated and uncomfortable I dipped quickly and did not buy a thing.
I’ve been in there before and probably will come back as long as she is not there.

Very cute store that I discovered while on the Unilocal /​Local First Arizona Mill Ave. treasure hunt. I was super excited to see that they had the new Tom’s ballet flats so I just had to take a break from the treasure hunt and buy a pair.

Cute little shop near ASU campus. They have fashions from local designers and products for a cause like Tom’s that gives a pair of shoes to a child in need. Just walking around I found items for myself and gifts for my friends. Everything is reasonable priced also.

Oh how I miss browsing the racks at Here on the Corner before my evening classes at ASU. Really great selection of jewelery and funky sunglasses. Bags and purses — awesome — and really good gift items.
Clothing is a bit pricier and tinier than thou — but what a great idea to open a store in the basement of the MU as well! Your «Here» sweats were a hit as well — great way to give us students a little local flair!

The reason my friends and I came here was using the Unilocal promo to get Buy 1 get 1 free off sunglasses! I think most things in the store are too expensive for me to buy, but my friend and I did get a pair each for $ 5! My roommate ended up getting a hat for $ 10. Not bad!
Clothes in the store are very unique and cute. It’s one of those boutiques where you can only find in a local store and not something too commercial like at the mall. They’ve got a variety from glasses, hats, jewelry, shoes, to trendy dresses.

Pretty good boutique. Back in the day, the used to carry guys’ clothing — basically the local stuff like Spraygraphic. They had an epic sale when they decided to get rid of all of their men’s clothing and I was able to get some good shirts for cheap.
I like the way it’s laid out inside and everyone was nice.

Another mildly kitchy college-​town boutique, this shop carries a small selection of women’s apparel & accessories. What I like is the fact that it exists: having something other than massively huge and sickeningly homogenous retail corporations as options is refreshing.
But like many similar shops, they gear towards sizes I haven’t been since I was 10, and some staff have a slight «hipper-​than-​thou» attitude which lends to mediocre service.
I saw some cute items I’d possibly get for gifts (like neat little heat/​cold compresses in fun satin prints…$ 12) if I’m in the area again. But I’m in no rush…
