The staff is always helpful if I need help finding something, or if I have questions regarding a particular product they carry. THE place to go for art supplies!

This store is definitely my favorite art supply store in Phoenix. I have my own art studio downtown and I routinely stop in here on my way from my house to my studio. There is always a great deal to be had and the service is very friendly. I have never been ignored here.
The prices are low and if you find a better deal on their website, they will price match unless it is a closeout warehouse sale. The quality of supplies are wonderful too. If they do not have something in the store but do carry it in the warehouse, they will order it for you.
I would give this store 10 stars if I could.

This is my favorite art supply store in the valley. Their prices are great, but the employees really make this store. Merry in framing is amazing– she will make sure to work with you to get everything to you in perfect condition by the time you need it. This is the only place I will go to get things framed now.

I came in here the other day after randomly finding it on Unilocal.I was initially trying to find an alternative to Hobby Lobby since they’re closed on Sundays and stumbled upon Jerry’s Artarama on a Unilocal search to find something nearby.
I was on the hunt for new calligraphy graph paper and possibly some new pens. I walked in and was a bit overwhelmed by how large the store is. It has a very open layout which I think made the place feel even bigger. However, everything is clearly labeled so I didn’t have a hard time finding what I needed.
They have great prices and the staff is very friendly and eager to help you with any projects you may have.
I ended up joining their rewards club to receive 10% off.

This store is the best art store for a serious artist. I previously left a review in which I said the prices seemed quite a bit lower than other art stores like Arizona Art Supply (AAS). Well, I now have proof.
I happened to go to both Jerry’s and AAS yesterday. I was looking for 3″ x 3″ gessoed wood panels. AAS was my first stop and not only did they not have the exact size I wanted, but their price was $ 9.50 for a 4″ x 4″ panel that was only gessoed on the top. I decided to try Jerry’s because I really wanted a 3″ x 3″ piece. I found exactly what I wanted and each piece was only $ 1.50! So, that’s an amazing markup at AAS. Keep it in mind!

I can’t say enough about this store! After an underwhelming visit to a rival store in Phoenix, Jerry’s was like Candyland for artists. The store is chock-​full of top notch supplies and opportunities to test out their products. There’s a wonderful open air feeling to the store when you walk around, and it’s obvious they take pride in what they sell. Not an air of snobbery, either; the staff are approachable and ask if you need help. Their customer service is genuine. I will definitely return when I have more time to look around.
**Update** I was in again today and wanted to look at their SoHo brand which I see advertised a lot. They had some good deals going and I also wanted to see what they had available in open stock pencils & pastels. They were able to price match a set of high end pastels to their website. Nice!
I’m glad that local stores like this one make the shopping experience an enjoyable one. Yep, I’m gushing about Jerry’s because my second visit there just built my esteem for them even more. I had a not so great experience at another local store and was feeling a bit grouchy. Great staff– friendly both times I was there, knowledgeable, and I love that they let you test-​run so many of their products. Love you Jerry’s!

The customer service is the best. Chris was so massively helpful and they have the best prices. I am so happy to have found the store, I usually just order from their on line site but so much better to actually go and look around and choose.

Jerry’s Artarama is a great art supply store. They have a great selection of all art needs and many deals. The staff is not only helpful, they are friendly and approachable.
I went in and picked up an acrylic paint set up and had multiple questions. Cameron hooked me up with the information needed to weigh the pros and cons. No pressure sales and gave me a heads up on some deals going on; saved me some cash on canvases.
Other trips have been similar experiences, and they always have what I’m looking for in stock.

If you’re looking for an art warehouse, HERE’S your place. Décor is super cool, staff was extremely friendly– overall a wonderful experience.
Also, everything is super cheap compared to major craft stores and it felt much more homey, to say the least.

These are friendly people. They love art and they know their business. Each time I visit, the staff is very nice and helpful. I get great deals, the supplies I need and leave very happy with the service.
I also receive good service at framing. They always take care of me by offering smart recommendations.

I was weary of going into an art supply store that wasn’t a mega-​chain like Michael’s, etc… sometimes employees can be snooty to people like me, who are not refined in the arts. But the staff is awesome!!! I was there to pick up supplies for an eccentric (somewhat erotic) project, and was completely embarrased when I had to explain to the staff why I needed paint that is ok for the body, but NOT body paint. Although I felt flushed afterwards, the assistant manager was very professional and was able to guide me through the varieties of paints that would be «safer» to use. I didn’t feel judged at all and he even said «don’t worry, we’re all artists here». The cashier even helped me pick out my colors :) both of the guys had tremendous patience with me and that will definitely have me coming back!

This is my spot! The prices are almost always better than comparable stores and the staff actually help you. Sounds strange right? But the staff actually know about the supplies and offer you good advise on them. I know I will drive from scottsdale to get my supplies any time

Jerry’s is definitely my favorite art supply store in arizona No doubt about it Theor prices are the lowest and they have a good size inventory although I wish they restocked their prisma and micron pens more often And have dr martins concentrate watercolor on shelves !

Great products at reasonable prices. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a genuine smile and made to feel welcome.

They have everything and then some! The best of the best supplies. The best quality for awesome prices! Which art supplies are always expensive, but these are some of the best prices I’ve seen.
Also, the staff is wonderfully sweet and helpful.

I love Jerry’s. Love them, love them, love them! I had passed by the store before, but finally stopped there with a friend about two years ago, and we’ve been going there ever since. They are by far the best art supply store I have ever shopped at.
I think what I love most about Jerry’s is that its just art supplies and whatnot. It is not a craft store. Craft stores (Michael’s, JoAnn’s, HobbyLobby) sell only a handful of art supplies, and they typically charge you a lot for it because, realistically, they only have a handful of brands/​options available. Its frustrating — or, rather, it was — that my only option for sketch tools or markers were stores where it cost so much and the selections were so thin.
This changed everything. They have pretty much anything — I never leave Jerry’s disappointed. The ONE time I was unable to find in-​store what I needed, I was able to order from their website (which, BTW, is wonderfully user-​friendly and still just as well priced). And, even when I didn’t find what I specifically came there for… I usually find lots of other stuff I want to try anyhow.
Jerry’s is a discount supply store that started as a small family business in New York and has since expanded. It is not a major chain, but a small chain for sure. The store is not super fancy — it is earthy and organic feeling, with the occasional mattering of paint smears or marker smudges. Its a good feeling place because while it is earthy, its not dirty or dingy, and you absolutely feel that the money you spend isn’t going to make the place ‘pretty’. To me, that’s a good feeling. Savings are passed on to the customer.
Plus, every time I go here, I am absolutely impressed with how helpful and sweet the staff are. They know their stuff and they are super friendly.
Whole-​hardheartedly recommend Jerry’s to anyone looking to get better art supplies of any sort, but not willing to pay ultra-​high prices for them. Best art store ever.

This is a fairly large art supply store. They do custom framing, which was what brought me in. With a large selection of frames, friendly, helpful staff, and quality work, I’m very satisfied.
I’m not much of an artist, but if you are, and you’re looking for supplies, I can’t imagine anything that they either do not have in stock, or can not order for you.

Art supplies are expensive! I guess they are expensive in general. But the prices here aren’t toooooo bad. I can always go to Walmart and get some cheap paint and paint brushes.
But this place is good for better quality paint. I can get Soho acrylic paints and Montana Gold spray paints. The vibrant colors, you can’t get that at Walmart.

Amazing art supply store. On my quest to fins arts and crafts projects to keep the grandkids busy over the summer I came across this art store. The store is well-​laid out and well-​organized. I found the kids section right away and found a cute project for both my 3 year old and 6 year old grandkids at a fraction of the price I have seen at Michaels and Joanns.
The floor is painted with random fun designs, parking is easy and close to the door, and the employees are friendly and helpful.
