I have been here 3 times and was happy initially. The place is clean and presents a good image, although the man who greets you looks like Mario in Super Mario game.
The first couple of times I had sweet, quiet ladies that asked me about my work and family.
The last time though I could not ignore the constant chatter in Vietnamese language between the tall guy with glasses and the tall lady that sat next to each other doing nails.
They (the married couple) were very loud and I could not relax at all… which is precisely why I come here in the FIRST place… TO RELAX.
I feel like they were talking about me because they kept looking over at me…
I don’t know why they can’t speak English
Anyway Thats why I give 1 star
I will go where I do not have to hear that

Just a walk-​in on a Thursday late afternoon. I’m trying to grow my nails long without acrylics & found gel nails chip easily because I’m typing all day. The SNS manicure is perfect & 100’s of color options. My nails feel hard with soft edges, no lifting or peeling and not as foreign object/​artificial feeling as acrylics.
What a gorgeous, clean salon! The décor is cool & modern, featuring a granite long bar setup for nails. Pedicure tubs always have protective plastic around them for new use. Soothing ambient music too, and the owner’s daughter is so sweet, offering me bottled water. This is my new spot!

They take their time & pay attention to detail when doing gel. I got the SNS Gel. It’s a powder gel that does not utilize the radiation machines. A nice healthy alternative! I love my nails!

Go see Hina! She is amazing! My nails have never looked better and she gives a great leg and foot massage.

So it took me 3 months later to go back. Called and spoke to the man in the front said let’s try this again and see if the experience is better. Tried it and everything was cool. Came back a second time (2 weeks later) and was greeted by the same man at the front asking me about my previous review. Due to the language barrier what I got from what he was saying is that I left that 3 star review and I need to fix it since I did come back last time. I said if you felt so strongly about it why didn’t you mention it when I came back 2 weeks ago. He calmed down because someone came in behind me but I started questioning him. You’re not going to show out in front of me when there is no one around. Then he went on to mention that «no one» can schedule an appointment with Kim anymore. I honestly think that’s a lie. I saw a woman come in waiting for her just because she was a long time customer. I believe he only said that to just me and that’s fine because I was done with this place and really mean it. Service is slow and the man at the counter only cares about filling seats and letting people wait. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s not going to be honored. Time management is terrible and I’m sure one of them will send me a message about this on here. Don’t want to hear it! Didn’t really like the SNS either. Went back to gel with a woman that I found on IG and the quality is way better and you get more for the same price. Due to the man at the counter unprofessional mannerism and previous experience here overall they get the 1 star from me. I won’t ever come back. Too many options around here to come back to this place. Good riddance.

Visiting Tempe for a conference and desperately needed a mani/​pedi. Found Pearl Nails on Unilocal and decided to give it a try because the reviews were so good. I was not disappointed!
Grace did both my pedicure and a full set of SNS gel nails. The pedicure was one of the most thorough and relaxing pedicures I’ve ever had. And Grace was able to take care of an ingrown nail that had been bothering me that my girl at home wouldn’t touch. VERY pleased!
The process of the SNS gel took longer than the usual but the depth and intensity of the glitter was well worth it. No light or odor, just repeated dipping in the powder. So many color choices it was hard to decide. I will say what I thought was going to be a lighter color with dark glitter turned out to be darker than expected but still gorgeous.
Go and treat yourself! You won’t regret it!

Clean, beautiful, and the best part is that the place doesn’t reek of nail chemicals. I got the pearl deluxe pedicure package and my feet are now sandal/​flip-​flop ready for the summer!
The nail technician that I had took her time and gave my feet a good massage. The salon also offers water and tea. Would come back here again

I live right near this place and decided to finally give it a try. My first impression was that it is SO clean and the decorum and everything was so peaceful. I was greeted right away and asked to wait 20 mins. That was fine, and it only ended up being maybe 10. The owner (I assume) came up and asked me if I knew about SNS gel manicure. I hadn’t, so he told me that it is healthier and lasts twice as long as regular gel and doesn’t require the UV rays to dry! (I was sold at that). I decided to try it. There were tons of colors to choose from, and the amazing nail tech Kim helped me choose a color, didn’t rush me.
I have VERY SHORT nails, I have a chewing problem, which is why I switched from acrylic to gel. But gel usually makes them pretty beat up as well. Anyway, she was SO gentle and sweet and took great time to not hurt me (like, they are really short). Her daughter was also there and is just a ray of sunshine, asked me if I wanted some water and talked to me. She showed me her SNS manicure and said it was over a month old! They were PERFECT except for the regular grow out at the top.
The process of SNS is almost like acrylic, but different in the way that she paints a bonding gel on and then dips your finger into a powder, shaking off the excess. She doest that a couple times, it covers the nail perfectly, and it is HARD. It definitely won’t be chipping any time soon!
It took a bit longer but it is SO worth it. The staff was so nice and friendly, everyone making sure they at least said hello to me. The owner came and asked me how I was doing 2 times, and explained more about the SNS. For only a couple dollars more than a regular gel — completely worth it! I even did more research on the SNS and it looks like it’s some amazing stuff. ALL GELL USERS, COME TO PEARL AND GET AN SNS MANICURE ITS SO MUCH BETTER

This was my first time at the salon. I was very impressed with the service. I thought the customer service was wonderful and the salon was so nice and clean. I liked that I was helped right away and they asked if I wanted anything to drink. What really impressed me was that they stayed open late on a Sunday for a group of ladies who were doing a team building actvity for their employees. I thought that was really cool. I will be a repeat customer.

Very nice, they seat as soon as they can, they use clean tools and a huge selections og nail polish and SNS gel, and it looks really pretty inside

Had a great experience. Environment was very relaxing. There is an actual nail bar to one side of the salon, and the spa chairs on the other. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. I will definitely be returning for my services.

Poor quality work. I have been twice, once for manicure and another time for a pedicure. Both times I had regular nail polish (not gel or that powder stuff) and both times they painted over my cuticles so that when my nails started to grow out the polish left a hard ridge at the base of my nails. Also all of my manicure nails chipped writhing a few days. The nail technician I had with my pedicure scolded me at one point when I couldn’t hear something she said. I probably should’ve left walked out right then, it is pretty unprofessional to yell at a client. One nice thing I can say about the place is the physical salon is nice.
Will not be going back for a third time.

Let me just preface this review with the fact that I am INSANELY OCD about my nails. Any imperfection drives me nuts. I even avoided going to salons because I felt like I was paying money only go to bonkers about the little things they could have done better. I know, I’m weird.
However, I think that only strengthens the rave review I am writing for Pearl Nails, specifically Don. I had been here once before and another woman did my gel manicure while I got a pedicure. She did a great job until the very end when she got the top coat all over my cuticles (one of my biggest pet peeves!)
So, I ventured in to give it another shot. This time I had Don and I got an SNS manicure. HOLY COW. I can honestly say that is the best manicure I’ve ever had. He has such a strong attention to detail that even my OCD eyeballs find anything wrong with them.
Seriously people, go see Don at Pearl Nails. You won’t regret it!

I’am from Boston and was looking for a clean and sanitized nail salon. Came across pearl spa it was not only clean but very nice and friendly. I would recommend this spa to anyone. If I was to come back to this area I would absolutely come back to pearl spa !!!

I have been going to this nail salon for a few months now and it is amazing! Kim always does my nails and she is amazing. She is very gentle and sweet! I recommend this place to anyone! It’s a great place to relax after work!

This is my third time at Pearl Nails. The first time I went in for a standard gel manicure. My manicure turned out great so I returned two weeks later for another gel mani. The technicians suggested I try the SNS gel manicure which does not use a UV dryer and is supposed to be healthier for your nails. After two weeks my nails still looked awesome, I came in a week earlier than needed because I chipped one of my nails rather badly. When my nail tech took the gel off my nails looked so healthy, like they hadn’t even had gel on them! Definitely going to continue coming to Pearl for my SNS manis! Not to mention, the attention to detail on cleaning up my nails has been on point each visit!

I love it here! The inside gives the feel of a spa more than a nail salon, with lit candles, relaxed lighting and coffee and tea available to you. I’m so excited to have found somewhere to relax and receive quality service. It was the first day for the girl who did my pedicure, and she was fantastic. I would have never guessed she was new.
I’ll definitely be back to see how it goes with a gel manicure.

I know I just reviewed this place two weeks ago but I absolutely love it. Kim and Tina really do a fantastic job. The quality, attention to detail and cleanliness are all top of the line. I have had SNS nails the last two visits and I absolutely love them. I’ll never do gel again. No UV and they grew my nails very long and healthy. Call ahead because they have limited techs who do SNS.

This is the best nail salon in town! The staff is so sweet and they are great at their craft! I really enjoy going here to relax! Best nails, best eyebrows!
And it’s super clean!
