I just got a coat hemmed up and he did a great job. His prices are very reasonable and I will go back for future alterations.

Yi does an amazing job! He’s tailored a few dresses of mine, and recently I recommended him to my boyfriend who brought a few pair of his expensive jeans to get hemmed. He wanted a «European stitch» that was very particular and Yi did an awesome job on it. I’d recommend him to anyone who needs work done. A little pricey for some stuff, but cheap for others, i guess it depends on what you want done.

I’ve used many different local tailors over the past ten years but this week I decided to try Yi’s and they were fantastic. They did four items for me and they all came out like new. One pair of expensive jeans had pocket almost completely torn off and I thought there was no way anyone could repair them. Yi’s was $ 12 to fix and unbelievable… They look amazing. I couldn’t have asked for better. Omg it’s my new spot for good.

Very good, fast work but VERY expensive. $ 14 to shorten dress pants and $ 30 to shorten the sleeves of a dress jacket.

I read all the reviews on him and everyone had favorable remarks on workmanship. So I had three pieces altered. They are perfect now and no longer wait in the closet to be worn. Yay!

My daughter was scheduled to sing for a special event and I was running out of time to get the hem of her dress altered. A friend recommended that I go to Yi’s. I couldn’t be happier. They altered the dress the same day and it was beautifully done. I am very happy with Yi’s work and would highly recommend him to anyone. We were treated with good customer service and, being a first timer, I was shocked to see they had remembered our name as soon as we returned to pick up the gown. Thank you, Yi, for your meticulous work and efforts to help us out in a time crunch.

I used to like Yi, but as of today I will not be going back there ever again. I brought in an $ 800 bathing suit(it was a gift) to be tailored so that I could resell it. It was brand new with the tags still on, but just had some threads that were coming apart. I came back today to pick it up and the tags were completely gone. I explained to him(and a woman there behind the counter who spoke better English than he) that there were 2 tags on it; the regular tag with the barcode and one that held thread for the bathing suit. Both were MIA. Instead of saying«I’m sorry» he blamed me and said I must have taken them off or lost them which is ridiculous. I was going to resell it on eBay, I didn’t touch the tags and never would have taken them off. Anyway, I won’t be going back. I’ll be taking my business somewhere else. The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the tailoring was good, but losing my tags and then blaming me is unacceptable.

I’ve brought many things to be tailored here and was always pleased with the results. Unfortunately, of late I’ve noticed that my clothes have not been treated with the delicate and loving care and attention to detail that was once this tailor’s strong suit(heh). The last straw that moved me to update my review was when my questions regarding the way a shirt of mine was tailored were met with hostility and downright rudeness. I mean, he did not even bother to match the thread and we’re not talking about an exotic color here – just a cream colored thread! This is it! I’m no longer bringing my stuff to be tailored here.
