Will Ortiz is an amazing employee. If I had 10 cars I would buy all new tires just because he is so helpful and patient. Give him a raise and his own store!

They really know what they’re doing, and if there is an issue, they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy.

Pissing me TF off… I came simply to get my tires rotated & one tire plugged. I specifically asked how long it would be he says «1 hour and 25 minutes at most» granted which is already too damn long for such a simple task… Why has my ass sat and still is sitting in this cold ass lobby for 2 hours still waiting on my car… I’m very pissed! Discount tire is going down hill, it used to be fast and speedy service.

Got my tires for a good price, but docked one star because they said that they were going to call after an hour for me to pick up my car. Well, never got my call and when we got there (on our own insentience) they were already locking up with my car being the only one on the lot… hmmmm…

My GF lives in Richardson Texas and drives to New Braunfels every weekend. Last week her Lexus IS250 front tire started coming apart. She called me and I gave her the address to punch in her GPS (Discount tire in Temple). It was a Thursday afternoon and she went in and they replaced the tire. I told her to have them look at the other front as well. She came to NB and was leaving Monday morning and I thought I would just look at the other front since they only charged her for one. Same thing, coming apart. I called the GM and he called the Discount tire in NB and had them install ONE AT NO CHARGE. I in turn… replaced both the rears also. This is why I have always taken my vehicles to Discount tire. Thanks Kevin Davis.

Andrew and Marcus were very helpful to us today. They were able to order the tires we needed, and explained how we could get road hazard coverage. Their service has always been reliable and trustworthy in the past. They offer the best deals on tires.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the service at Discount Tire. My problem is when I try to change a tire and it’s almost impossible to remove with tools short of an impact driver. I have honestly broken two studs off while removing due to their over torquing. I’m sure I’m not the only customer to have this issue, but when it calls for 80−87ftlbs, why did my Snap-​On torque wrench read 170ftlbs to remove. Come on guys, slow down and do it right!

1/​13/​15These guys are great! Service you just don’t find anymore. I have a new truck– new tires not purchased from DT. Had a piece of metal causing a slow leak in one of the tires. Figured I’d pay to have it fixed and get a rotation while I was at it. In and out in 30 minutes. No charge.
This is why my family has been returning for 10 years! Why we will be returning for the next 10.

Discount Tire stores are great with customer satisfaction. No matter which one I go to they always treat you well and work hard to get you what you want. Even if you didn’t buy tires from them they will plug a flat tire for you with no charge.

Great customer service! I was on my way to Dallas when my tire pressure light came on. Andrew was kind enough to immediately check it and I was in and out and on my way to Dallas in 5 minutes. I will definitely be back when I need tires!

Wish I could give more stars to this place! It was awesome! I came here with the original intent of buying a tire pressure measuring gauge. I forgot to get his name, but he was so sweet. He first gave me the gauge, then proceeded to check my pressure and pump my tires with air. The whole process took less than a minute. When I asked how much I owed him, he smiled and said it was free, and anytime I need to come get my pressures checked, they would do that for free! What an awesome service! So I ended up not having to pay anything and got my problem solved. This type of customer service is just above and beyond. THANK YOU!

Very friendly manager had an issue that he resolved very quickly and professionally. I understand that sometimes things happen it’s all in how it is fixed. The gentlemen who worked on my car were very fast and kept me updated on my vehicle as the process was happening. I have always used discount tire and this location has been my best experience. I will come back to this location in the future.

My husband & I have always bought all of our tires at our local Discount Tire (Austin/​Round Rock). I just purchased four new Michelin Defenders with the Warranty Certificates (Got Certs.?) & we also get lifetime rotate & balance. It’s a routine. Every other oil change go to DT & rotate tires. So, let’s get on with why I will never forget this location in Temple. I was on my way from Austin to Temple to McLanes Children’s Hospital & hit a sharp object on I-​35 driving the posted speed limit. 75mph. Bam. Thought «Dang, what was that? Oh well, I’ve got new tires.»…then flap flap flap. Turned hazards on, drove on rim to get to my grandson. Left vehicle in parking lot w 3 huge slits in tire & flat as a pancake. Called AAA. Temple Towing towed the vehicle straight to Discount Tire by Temple Mall. I was on time for my grandson’s appointment, & had a brand new Defender on my van before lunch. This team in Temple could tell I was upset, flustered, & just generally upset. They treated me like family. I love the service you always get from all Discount Tires. We are LIFELONG customers for all these reasons. Never trust any other tire dealer. The guys at Discount Tire blow their doors off!!! Thanks y’all! I made it back to Austin!!! :))

This place really knows the true meaning of customer service! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; they take time to show you if there’s a problem with your tires or rims and they’re quick and efficient. I’ve come here many times and they always get me in an out very quickly. I recently bought a new set of tires and I got the road hazard warranty. Shortly after, I got a nail in my tire. They fixed my tire no muss no fuss. Customer for life!

I’ve been going to this discount tire since I moved to Temple about 6 years ago. Every time I have been a walk-​in and they treated me just like how they treat the people with appointments. I appreciate that very much. I also like how you can just drive up and ask them to air up your tires and they do it for free. I have never had any problems with the service and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Great experience here — got a full quote online (every other tire place in the Temple area makes you submit a quote request so that some salesman can call you, err annoy you with a sales pitch). Their quote for four tires was well below any competitor in the area. When I went in at my appointment time, they were missing one of the tires I’d reserved (they had 3 of the 4 in stock), so they have me a higher-​grade tire at the same quoted price — about a $ 100 difference overall. They were packed to gills with customers, but still got my car in and out in a very reasonable time. Good deal, honored their quote, and quick. Excellent all around.

They had the tires I needed and took care of it within the time I asked… All good.

I have been here several times over the years and haven’t had a problem. They honor there warranties, air is free which is a big plus. The staff is nice. they do try to not be undersold. Wall-​ins are not so bad the wait is not that long. This is the only tire shop me and my dad use (if you knew my dad you would know they have to be exceptioal). I do recommend this tire shop.
If you make an appt it does go a lot faster.

Yeah, so my husband went there to get my tires fixed. He purchased a new tire and long story short, the cool kids put on the wrong tire on and then kept the new one for themselves. They put the flat one on under the truck where the spare goes and put the spare on. Thank goodness my husband was observant. He called me and I was headed that way. They were «so kind» as to remove the tire mounting fee — how kind…
