Shipley Donuts

Poor customer service, manager/​owner doesn’t care. It could be why their other business, mad mongos, failed. Milk is often spoiled to the point I won’t order it anymore. They must feel they are truly the only game in town. Their attitudes certainly portray that feeling.

The donuts are alright. I have gotten one or two that were still doughy on the inside. But the biggest disappointment is the staff, specifically, the older women. They are very rude and discourteous. Even before I say anything they just glare at me with these glazed (pun intended) over eyes like I’m going to make them do something they don’t want to do. Just today, I go in to get 6 donuts and the woman quickly grabs the box that can only fit the simple glazed ones. As I start listing the ones I want, she looks at me and says they’re not going to fit in the box and «do you still want them?» No shit they’re not going to fit and yes I still want them. With her eyes rolling as far as they can into her head, she reluctantly grabs a bag and puts the remaining two in there. I paid, and got no reply to my thank you. This is not the first time I’ve had poor customer service from the older women there, either. The younger (hs?) girls working there are much nicer and courteous. So just beware, be happy with your donuts and don’t let their grumpiness spoil your deserved cheat meal.
