At Smallcakes, we are dedicated to a few things. First: baking the most delicious cupcakes possible for our customers. With a wide selection of different flavors made fresh daily, including Cookies-n-Cream, Hot Fudge Sundae, and our famous Red Velvet, we believe we accomplish just that! Second: Gourmet ice cream that is made in our kitchen. Our creamy ice cream is made with only the highest quality ingredients. With flavors like 24-karrot and red velvet cake, and Ande’s Mint you’ll be able to see why our ice cream is like nothing you’ve had before. History

Established in 2008.

Jeff Martin founded the wildly popular Smallcakes Cupcakery Franchise that bakes and frosts 12 signature flavors every morning, fresh from scratch. Smallcakes also features seasonal and special flavors created by Jeff. After appearances on the Food Network’s «Cupcake Wars» seasons one, two, and seven as well as on the hit daytime talk show «The View,» Smallcakes became well known and in hot demand in neighborhoods across the nation. Even celebrities have had Smallcakes at their events and weddings. USA TODAY listed Smallcakes as one of the Top Ten Cupcake Places to try in the country.

Smallcakes believes in its slogan of «Maybe a Cupcake Will Help?» and has been growing their neighborhood cupcakery across the world. Our mission statement is how we have grown our little cupcake store. «To use creative flavors, quality ingredients, and friendly service to provide the finest cupcake experience worthy of returning and recommending.»

If you’ve ever been to a Sprinkles you’ll know these cupcakes don’t compare. I didn’t think they were amazing especially for the price. I would spend $ 4 on a sprinkles cupcake before I’d spend $ 4 on smallcakes. I had the hot fudge cupcake and It was so dry.

Darling little place with the most decadent cupcakes and delicious ice cream. The cupcakes are THE most moist cupcake I’ve ever eaten. Fun and yummy ice cream flavors. I am even more endeared to the place knowing they donate their leftovers every day to the Ronald McDonald House and/or Helping Hands.

Checked out this new cupcake place last night. I got a red velvet cupcake and my husband got a hot fudge sundae cupcake. They both tasted great. I have heard that these are «big» or even over-sized cupcakes, however I didn’t think they were that much bigger than any other cupcake you could get almost anywhere else.
The cake was very moist even though we picked ours up after 6pm.
The cupcakes were very expensive. For two cupcakes we paid a bit over $ 8.
We did taste test some of the ice cream and every one we had was very delicious.
All that being said I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here for a cupcake (especially considering the price) but it was still very good and worth checking out if you haven’t been yet.

Oh, how I wanted to love this place! Unfortunately the cupcakes are average and the prices too high. The store was clean and the staff was enthusiastic. I didn’t try the ice cream but it was also expensive.

I thought I would stop by and surprise my wife and son with ice cream on my way home on 1÷5÷16. The ice cream choose I had was cookies and cream and mint chocolate the cookies and cream was good but the mint chocolate was like a soup not like an ice cream. Was a little upset with that but an nice building.

I’ve stopped in with my kids several times, we’ve tried the cupcakes which are actually the size of a small cake and the ice cream which is like smooth icing. We were in on opening day, Grand Opening and a few other times, never had a problem with them being low on cupcakes. They were constantly restocking from the back the entire time we were there. Yes, it’s a new business, it is in a great location, which is super busy, so they are busy, good for them! Don’t get frustrated, give them a chance! You’ll be glad you did! Help support these new local businesses! Grab a dozen, take them to work and help spread the word!

As a previous post stated they ran out of cupcakes when we were there. How do you run out of cupcakes with your name as a cupcakery with Food Network advertising? Change the name to creamery or come prepard! Not a good way to start a new business. I as well do not know if I will go back. I told my baby girl we were going to get cupcakes. FAIL!

I stopped in and got 2 cupcakes, Salted Carmel and Vanilla with Chocolate. They were very good, very moist and huge! It is a new shop and they are working out the kinks, learning curves, etc. However, that does not take away from the cupcakes! Stop in and grab a couple and they have a daily cupcake special, you can find it on their facebook page.

Very cute shop. Unfortunately, service left much to be desired. It must have been an exhausting day, because the staff made us feel that it was bothersome that more customers were in their doors. For a new business, warm pleasantries and appreciation for new patrons should be of the upmost importance. Two employees behind the counter, one helping customers and another cleaning up. After noticing how sparse the counter was, I asked the lady that was not with customers if they had any cupcakes left. She advised that they had sold out. There was no thankfulness for us stopping in, nor was there empathy that they were out of items. Although I was very excited for this shop to open, I am hesitant to visit again. I cannot speak to the taste of the cupcakes, as they had sold out. I can say that I would prefer to take my business to a home town shop that welcomes us.
