We went here for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. We heard wonderful comments about this place from friends. It was pretty slow and quiet. Our server greeted us promptly and took care of us well. We ordered the lemon pepper wings and original buffalo The lemon pepper wings were greasy and had an after taste. The buffalo was okay. My boyfriend seemed to like them more than me. The wings came with a side of celery which was old and had black stuff on it. Gross. We also ordered a supreme pizza as well. It tasted like digiornos. The crust was chewy and did not taste or look hand made. Overall our server was nice but this would not be my go to place for wings or pizza.

Of course, we make it a point to stop here on our commute back home from the coast, and of course, we are very satisfied! Very attentive servers (Austeen & Megan), and delicious food! Thanks for the military discount! See y’all next year!

I’ve been visiting and enjoying this place for over 2 years. i really haven’t tried everything on the menu. And thats simply because I dont need to. A nice cold beer and buffalo medium bone-​in wings or grilled chicken sandwich really does it for me. And Am fully satified. :)
Nice looking place with plenty of flatscreens to enjoy a sporting event of your liking. Im a huge soccer fan and they always switch the channels when asked.
In the years that I have been coming here I’ve never had any problems with a meal nor a server or bartender. Very friendly and down to earth people. Bella, Jordan, Amanda are my fave. And reason why I still come to this place.

Family friendly as well as a great place to meet friends after work. The pizza crust on their pizzas are one of my favorite types of crust being just thick enough but not too doughy.

One of my favorite places to eat.
My standard order is 8 boneless wings with half sunset BBQ and half raspberry chipotle although my daughter usually ends up eating at least three of them.
There are tv’s all around and Wings is the best spot for Fantasy Football viewing right after church. In the off season, my son and I enjoy playing trivia against the crowd.
Three years ago, the service dramatically improved and they followed up with an expansion of the facility. It went from a place we might visit sometimes to a restaurant that my family enjoys regularly.
Wings, Pizza N Things is an extremely good experience.

This place has gotten bad. Just picked up a box of 20 soggy wings. Looking forward to the new place opening. This place is under the sad assumption that no one compete… lol

***********************WARNING *****************************Since I wrote this review the owner or manager has been harassing me and my girlfriend on Unilocal and other review sites for somebody who says nobody cares what my Unilocal says sure spends a lot of time on here. Using fake accounts (review of y) to right rude comments on other reviews.
Went here with my girlfriend for date night to try a restaurant that we were curious about and that was our first mistake.
Our hostess was polite but that’s the only nice thing to be said about this place. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, long wait time for food, and the food was terrible.
We ordered tater tots for appetizer then a burger and chicken wings for our meal. The tots were cold and soupy, the burger was dry and over cooked, the wings were bland and flabby.
The worst part of this experience is that my girlfriend posted her honest review of this place on Unilocal only to be harassed by the owner and be accused of being a scammer. He blamed her for the experience and told her that no one cares that she was mistreated because he doesn’t take her seriously and no one else will either. He insultedher while blaming her because of our horrible visit here. That is not okay.
Unacceptable, unprofessional, terrible experience.

Sad excuse for a restaurant. Crummy service, even crummier food… Maybe it would be good if you’re too drunk to notice these things. Two stars because the actual building has potential if it had good staff and good food.

First of all, this was my first place at this establishment. My last name is Perez, not Parker. And I have plenty of money to pay for any dinner I want in this town so I don’t appreciate being accused of trying to sneak a meal from your crappy restaurant. Our bill was $ 27 and we tipped $ 10 because A.) We felt bad for our waitress having to work around such horrible food and surroundings and
B.) We tip well because we know business owners like you don’t care about the well being off your staff or customers.
You made assumptions about a first time customer and react that manner? Wow.
I’ve never taken anything from anyone in my life for free and believe me if I did, it wouldn’t be from this POS establishment.
Next day update:
The owner of this place is verbally attacking me in the direct message section of Unilocal and blaming me for the experience we had. Unbelievable. He’s saying I didn’t provide enough specifics so here.
We ordered loaded tater tots for the appetizer, they took thirty minutes to come out cold and salty. My boyfriend ordered a burger that was supposed to have jalapeño and guac cooked to medium and he received an overcooked, dry burger with two jalapeño slices and a quarter sized blob of guac. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings. They had zero lemon or pepper flavor and I don’t think they even got salted. Both orders came with fries that were cold and greasy and half of them were black. Gross! We are both great cooks and we know bad food when we see it.
Our waitress (like I already stated) seemed pissed off from the second she came to our table and we only saw her twice after. She wasn’t nice or friendly to us at all (maybe she thought we were scammers like the manager did.)
We visit a lot of places in Temple and if you look at my reviews they are very fair and usually pleasant!
We are not unfriendly or rude people. We are not scammers. We are simply using Unilocal to review a service which is why Unilocal was created.

WAS a loyal customer until we noticed that the customer service was getting horrible. The hostesses are RUDE.
Today we went in and it was semi busy but we noticed empty high tops for two near the front. The hostess sat us in the back right on top of the bar which was full and next to a party of 10 where I was basically sitting on the guys lap. I know all the tables were close but this was way too close. So I mentioned to the waitress if there was a high top in the front we can move to because we felt uncomfortable. She rolled her eyes to say «um well they’re all close so I don’t what to tell you.» They ALWAYS do this. My husband has PTSD and can not be that close and all we wanted was another table. I told the waitress this and she said «I don’t know I’m sorry but we don’t have anything.»
In a nutshell, not only BAD customer service but blatantly ignored the fact I told you my husband has a disability. So you didn’t accommodate. We walked out nevertheless. The food and beer are great but will not be back due to the customer service. Hostess are the first impression and they are the rudest. This was the last straw when she ignored our request.

I hope I’ll be able to see the NBA playoffs especially Golden State & san antonio spurs!

Service leaves much to be desired. So me and my friends went with our roller derby team to this place, we arrived and placed our order at least 20 mins before the derby team arrived. It took over an hour for us to get our food, and this was after the majority of the team arrived, ordered and still got their food before us. We asked three different waitresses about our food all three said they would «check on it» but never came back to tell us anything! When we finally left to pay we asked to talk to the manager who gave us a halfhearted apology and the excuse that they were short staffed. The derby team notified them that they would be coming at least a week in Advance so they shouldn’t have been understaffed. We weren’t even offered a discount or our beverages comped to make up for our experience.
Additionally ever Tuesday like clockwork they are packed but they always seem to be short staffed on Tuesday’s as well. So while i love the wings their service and management need some work.

The food is pretty good here and they have a lot of TVs showing various sports, but I write this as I continue to wait for our food, it’s been over an hour. They said that is typical of Tuesday nights when they have the $ 10 for 20 wings deal. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend coming on Tuesdays. I certainly won’t be in the future. Or, they need to buy more fryers to meet the demand and then I would return!

Either owned or operated by a misogynist. I saw an elderly bald man behind the bar, screaming at the bar tender for an innocuous error. She later came back with tears in her eyes, and provided great service. We ended up leaving and not returning. Factor in this with the sanitation issues and mediocre food… i would avoid this place altogether. The only reason it survives is because of a lack of competition. I do think they have a good selection of draft beer, so thats a plus…

This place was a life saver! When I worked in the city, and running short on cash, coworkers and I put together a few bucks for the $ 5 medium pizza daily lunch special. Not only cheap, but this is the best tasting pizza I’ve had. Also tried the nachos which were under $ 8 but too much for me to eat. Also I always hated boneless wings until I had them here. This is the only place I will eat them.

One of my favorite pizza and wing places to go to. Great pizza, I always order it extra thin crispy and that’s how I get it. Friendly staff and great service couldn’t ask for more. Oh and the best wings around.

This place has it all great pizza great wings and cold beer!!! Highly recommend this place if your a local or from out of town and want to watch a ball game there are TV’s everywhere.

After seeing the reviews for this place, my wife and I thought we would give it a try.
First, the woman who took my order over the phone was not friendly. I understand you are probably busy, but you don’t have to be mean.
On the other hand, the food was good, not great. The cheese fries were okay, and the cheddar peppers were fine. My wife’s garden salad was fine too.
I thought the wings were pretty average too. I guess I had high expectations because of the reviews. Perhaps the atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the experience. (It was rocking. Televisions everywhere, sports on every channel, etc…)
Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be going back. It wasn’t bad, just not what we were expecting.

The one complaint I do have is that they have a table by their back door and they took out two huge trash bags right by our table, they smelled pretty bad and almost touched us with it.
Other then that the waitress we had was super patient with us while we asked questions and ordered for a large party. We got 50 wings in 5 diffrent flavors, pizza, fries, and boneless wings. Out entire order was correct. I was really inpressed. Our waitress also kept our drink filled in a timely fassion. I would eat there again.

Before I explain myself, let me say that I am including 4.5 stars for the taste of the pizza. Delicious and just right with the toppings-​not too much, not too little. Unlike the big chains, the sauce is distinct and GOOD. It could go up to 5 stars, but I was only able to eat one piece-that’s not enough to ensure consistency…
But the true five stars is for far more than the pizza. My young daughter’s young son is fighting for his life at the hospital next door to Wings Pizza and Things and we simply got hungry. Of course, things have a way of going wrong and my wallet was left an hour behind at a place I’m staying (I live in Hawaii and am here for emergency).
I found Wings Pizza and Things here on Unilocal and wrote the owner and asked if I could have him make us a pizza and four drinks and I’d bring the money that night or the next day but that we were in a bad portion and seriously in need of food. He agreed within an hour.
Flash forward two hours-​we have the pizza and the kids devour the entire thing. I was LUCKY to have a piece. They LOVED it. I loved it. I would buy it again. But guess what? I called later with my credit card information and they said they got this one for us.
I don’t even know how else to thank them except to say that this review is LEGITIMATE. We truly like the pizza very much-​and will come back over and over (we’ll be at the hospital a couple of months). Please consider going for the food, but stay for the service and compassion.
