Have always had a good experience at JB’s. Within the past year, I have had replaced on my 150,000+ mile car: a catalytic converter, four tires with alignment, and an inner tie rod. I also took advantage of their seasonal oil change special along with an inspection. The folks at JB’s have always taken my car in and gotten it back to me quickly. They are honest with their prices, albeit a bit high, but always give me a couple quotes with different quality parts to compare against. They are one of the better auto repair shops in Tewksbury.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else, recommend Jim Boudreau Automotive Service to everyone — quick, professional, friendly and most of all, excellent workmanship. Couldn’t ask for better service!

Don’t go there! They are layers and so not responsible.
I used their coupon for oil change and tire rotation. First, i brought my own oil and asked them to use it for oil change. But they didn’t give back to me the remaining oil, which made me think whether they used my oil on my car or they just take it. (I had oil change at other places and they all gave back to me the remaining oil)
Second, they didn’t do tire rotation and told me they couldn’t do it because there’s a problem with my alignment. But they didn’t tell me what i should do.
So i have to get my car wheels and tires checked again at 4s dealership and there’s nothing wrong!
They lied to me because they didn’t want to rotate my tires, which made me spent more time on their lies!!!

Recently went for an inspection and was told I needed significant front end work to pass. I called around to nearby shops and found all quotes were much less. In addition, once I took my car to the mechanic (not Jim), I was told and shown that I did not need more than $ 500 worth of repairs Jim Boudreau himself told me I needed. An auto parts delivery man was at the shop wondering what a customer, one with heels on, was doing under the lift looking at a car, to which my new mechanic simply replied «Jim Boudreau». The delivery man nodded in understanding.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I brought my car there for a simple break job and it nearly cost me my life! A mechanic named «BOB» did the break job and never put brake fluid in my lines and it nearly killed me! And to top it all off bon was extremely rude when I asked him about it and yelled at ME, the paying customer! I wouldn’t let me worst enemy get his car worked on there

Stopped going here after getting a front end alignment and four new tires. When work was completed I payed and started to drive home. Right away I noticed the steering wheel was not straight (it was way off) when driving on a straight road. I went back right away and talked to the mechanic and also Jim Boudreau. Jim told me it must of been like that when I came in (which it was not) so I replied it was not and if it was they should of fixed it as part of the alignment. Jim was very rude and didn’t want to hear it and stuck up for the mechanic instead of his customer.
They opened the steering box to correct the problem. Several days later the tires kept losing air, I finally found the valve stems were not installed tight and were losing air. After several years of getting my business I will never go back here again.

While I haven’t had actual repairs done here, they were speedy and friendly when I came by unannounced to get my inspection done. I got there before 8:30am, so there really wasn’t anyone else waiting there before me. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Spot on!

My family and I have been taking our cars here for repair for years. You will not find a group of mechanics that are more honest than these folks. If something does not need to be repaired right away, they will tell you so — they don’t want you to waste your money any more than you do. The repairs are almost always to my satisfaction, and when they aren’t they will make it right. Once you are on their customer list they will send you mailings for seasonal $ 24.50 specials (oil & filter, tire rotation, safety inspection, etc) that you just can’t beat.
