Magic Brush Pottery & Fused Glass

We had my daughters birthday party here last month. It was a good experience. There was a young girl who helped in the room. I thought she was busy and preoccupied painting while the kids painted as she wasn’t super available. I realized later that she was painting a plate for the birthday girl. Still, would have been nice to have that mostly done before party started. Overall it was a good experience.

No idea who left the previous reviews. I came in with my 1 year old to make a Christmas plate for my in laws. The owner was a doll. Hands on and helpful. My daughter is one, she was fussy with the paints and we had to really move it along and the owner didn’t bat an eyelash. She treated us as if our business was just as important as anyone else’s. I would and plan to 100% go back.

I got 4 christmas tree ornaments, buying them because there was a sign that said buy three get one free. When i mentioned it they said it was an old sign from the week before but they well do it anyways. When it came time to pay (because you paint then pay) they did not stick to it. When i mentioned the sign again and that it wasn’t right all they said was «yea». The customer service could have been better as well for the price you pay.

I STRONGLY ECHO THE COMMENTS FROM KATHERINE. Awful experience and felt ripped off. This was a terrible experience. We were largely ignored while we were here. Told to use ‘any paint’ we wanted – and weren’t given any other instructions– After we payed we were told we used the wrong paint– so they couldn’t glaze our pottery. I was also surprised by the sitting fee here. I will never go back here and will tell all my friends to also avoid this place.

Awful experience. Felt cheated on the living social coupons we purchased (we had two — one for myself and one of my kids; the other for our nanny and my other child… we were only allowed to use one). Never felt welcome. Nursed my newborn whlie there (covered up) and received odd stares from the owner on numerous occassions. As if that wasn’t enough, the owner called me the following week to tell me that she accidentally broke the item my oldest painted. He was crushed. The only thing she offered was a «sorry» and a free sitting fee. Awful experience from start to finish. We have a living social coupon left and I’m just letting it expire. I’d rather do that and lose out on the cost than go back to this place. That should say something. There are so many other paint your own pottery places around that are welcoming, have wonderful customer service, and don’t nickle and dime you (a «sitting fee», seriously?). Stay away from this place!

Lots of great pieces to choose from and I loved all the paint options. The place was whimsical and just fun to be in the room. Pricing was very appropriate and right in line with places just like this. I will definately be going back.
