History

Established in 1931.

Bryce Lawrence, Sr dreamed of having his own restaurant and when the building downtown became available he dropped everything, returned to Texarkana with two cooks on loan from where he was working in Shreveport and started Bryce’s Cafeteria in February of 1931. The home style southern cooking was a hit and continues today under the stewardship of his sons Bryce, Jr and Richard Lawrence. We have relocated to Mall Drive on I-30. We offer inside dining, a convenient drive thru and a meeting room for meetings and private parties. Buses are welcome.
