Established in 2006.

DataCast Inc. was founded in 2006 by former executives and co-​workers in the pharmaceutical distribution industry. Utilizing experience gained from operating a technology-​focused, multi-​billion dollar company, DataCast brings a common sense, cost-​effective approach to managing technology. Operating a state-​of-​the-​art, Secure Data Center as its hub, DataCast offers a full range of IT services to small and medium-​sized business to assist with Network, Application, and Data Management.

DataCast is led and managed by Mary Bird, a veteran in the IT industry with over twenty years experience. With extensive hands-​on expertise in both hardware and software, Ms. Bird brings a unique capability to serving customers in the technology field.



Previously Held Positions:

Vice President, Customer Information Systems.

Served as the primary executive in charge of customer information systems for multi-​billion dollar distribution company. Managed information systems that integrated several distribution centers with thousands of customers across a thirty-​state geography. Implemented industry leading, web-​based ordering software with over 3,000 users.



Chief Information Officer.

Served as the chief technology executive for a regional pharmaceutical distribution company. Responsible for all areas of IT including Enterprise Management, Corporate Intranet, EDI, AS/​400 Operations, Customer and Supplier Extranets, and Local and Wide-​Area Networks.
