Good Mood Foundation is a «peer to peer» ministry. We were chartered to provide evangelistic and ministerial services to people with mood struggles and that’s exactly what we do. The centerpiece of our impacting outreach ministry is «Engaging with God» group.

Evangelism is a two pronged message. It is about preaching the message of faith and it is about preaching the message of repentance.

The message of faith is directed towards unbelievers – «Change your mind – Jesus Christ died as a substitute for sinners and rose from the dead on the third day.»

The message of repentance is directed towards believers (Christians) – «Change your mind and turn away from sin.»

I am not saying or implying that all mood struggles have their origins in unbelief and sin. What I am saying is that no matter the cause for mood struggles we will preach the message of faith and repentance.

Everyone has been affected by someone they know who has a diagnosed mental illness, addiction or mood related struggle. Everyone prays their loved one recovers and gets well. But what do you say to your loved one about recovery? We believe that the road to recovery and getting well is analogous to a three legged stool. A three legged stool doesn’t work unless you have ALL three legs.

1. Professional medical and pharmacological treatment is the first leg. The road to recovery BEGINS HERE.

2. Counselors, therapists and support groups are the second leg. They help the patient deal with their «issues» and make personal changes.

3. God and the «faith-​based» component is the third leg.

Good Mood Foundation provides the «faith-​based» component for getting well. Our core ministry «Engaging with God» group connects and reconnects patients to the God of the Bible. We conduct «Engaging with God» group at Carrollton Springs Hospital in Carrollton, TX. every Sunday afternoon.
