Lakeside Medical Associates

I had been a patient of Lakeside Medical since the 80’s when i was a child. I never had any issues with them until a few years ago. It seems they must have had an office staff change and the focus moved form patient care to padding their bottom line. Front desk and nursing staff always seem friendly, but the providers are always in a rush and are trying to get in and out as quickly as possible, ordering needless blood work and tests without explaining why and then never following up with the results… at the cost of the patient. It’s really unfortunate to see what was a small-​town family doctor’s office turn into something so lacking in personal care.

Couldn’t ask for nicer, faster, more supportive people than the office staff here. Whether or not you like your doctor (Dr. Galindo is awesome) is a separate rating. But the office and nursing staff is top-​notch. They made everything easy, and made my son feel welcome.

Not satisfied with Dr. Tran’s inability to be personable. Seemed as if she wanted me in and out. I went in for chest pressure and left paying over $ 100 just for her saying my next visit was with a cardiologist.
Instead of submitting my claim I had to pay upfront. Hey, maybe I look like the type not to pay… Now they owe me for overpayment. Too much extra work to be done now.

I’ve been going to Lakeside Medical Associates since I moved to the DFW area two years ago, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. I have been under the care of two of the doctors there (Dr. Zeitman — My Primary and Dr. Galindo — My Alt) and both have been friendly, informative, and have shown a distinct proficiency in their fields.
Location wise, Lakeside Medical Associates resides inside a building which houses other medical organizations which can help further your diagnosis, including Quest Diagnostics and Baylor Radiology. Nothing was better than being able to get X-​rays done without having to leave the building. There are also other medical services in the facilities, including various pediatric care. So really, if you use Lakeside Medical Associates as your primary Adult care, they have other groups available for the whole family.
So for anyone looking for a new primary physician, I would recommend Lakeside Medical Associates. The whole of the staff are skilled, personable, and professional. Everything I, or anyone, could look for in a Doctor.
