Lone Star Carwash and Lube

I’ve been coming here for over 8 years and have never been disappointed with the quality of service. As a young female, I am always looking for a car place that doesn’t take advantage of that and try to sell me on things I don’t need. For the price, the amazing service is a steal.

Three is right. Its inconsistent with final service. Sometimes a two, sometimes a four… once it was a five. I like the $ 6 wash with all the construction in the area and the crappy weather we have had.

The reason i like this place, is this is one of the few Car wash places where they actually do it all, just drive up, pay up and relax they do it inside and out, no worries. I drive 10 miles from where I live and pay a little extra for the convenience, but it’s worth t.

It’s a carwash, so they should thoroughly wash the car, correct? Hmmm. The key word here is ‘thoroughly’. On this visit, I purchased the Gold Package ($ 25). Fancy, huh? It includes everything: Wash, vacuum, dashboard clean, hand drying and so on.
When I went to get my car, it looked shinely… but I was in utter shock.
The Inside: The dashboard looked clean, but the odometer panel and the panel between the seats still had dust on them. I’m a coffee drinker, and yes, coffee drops spill sometimes on that panel. This middle was obviously completely ignored, because those little drops were still lingering around. The inside of the windshield still had markings on it. It was obvious that the person merely wiped the glass with the gentlest of hands and didn’t look back to see if the job was done accurately.
The Outside: I found 4 marks white marks on my car, which is bright red so these marks were standing out like Opie at a Snoop concert. These marks were the reason I was shocked. I could see them as I was approaching the car. I went and asked the folks working there if I could take one of their towels and began wiping my own card down. It took 2 rubs on each mark and they were gone.
When I first walked to the car, the guy drying the car asked me if everything looked ok. I pointed out the inside of the windshield. He looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. It’s only when I started to wipe it, that he started to clean it.
The only pleasant experience here was the lady at the cash register. She was extremely friendly.

I chose the $ 12 express wash. When I came out of automatic wash a man directed me to the drying area. Two people worked really hard to dry car throughly and put the black coating on tires. In addition, they opened the car door and cleaned the inside of my windshield, rear view mirror and mirrors in my sunshade!

I have been coming here for a while to get oil changes, car washes and inspections. They always do a good job. The only downside, is that sometimes it takes a while when they are busy, which is understandable.

Horrible customer service. Didn’t even have to step through the door to experience what a poor establishment this place is. Called in to ask some questions, lady who hates her life was rude. Don’t support bad business, go elsewhere.

Went here for a carwash before work yesterday because my car was disgustingly dirty from all the bird crap and dried mud. For $ 13 my car got an exterior wash and interior vacuum and light cleaning, and while I did see some spots that seemed untouched, for $ 13 I can’t complain.
I paid around 9:15 and didn’t leave til about 9:45 — the staff seemed to take a bit long for the interior clean, as I stated earlier some spots seemed untouched so not sure why it took so long. But again, $ 13… this place is 2 minutes away from my workplace so I’ll probably be coming back for my next car wash.

I come here all the time and Love the service, Except for when I pay. I dont mind the prices because you get what you pay for and they do a great job every time. It’s just that when I walk up to the cash register I just get a bad feeling. The female looks at me funny and never says hello, thank you or you’re welcome. It’s like she is always having a bad day. I think that she may have had a bad experience with someone that looks like me. Whatever it is, I hope that this area of this business can change. Everything else is good.

I just came back from getting a car wash earlier and had a terrible experience!
I paid for a «Gold Wash» and when I came out from the car wash and the car was still dirty one side. I talked to a man, Charles I believe, and was told that it was «too» dirty and that I had to pay for another car wash!
I have never head of such a thing and felt forced to pay the extra money to get them to clean the car that I had already paid them for.
I will never go back, and reccomend that no one goes there!

This place is by far the best car wash in The Colony (quality, price, and customer service) they take their time and get the job done right!

I came for a oil change and quick wash, they were quick to greet me and explain the packages that were available. I was given a ticket and told to pay inside where there is a little lounge to relax while I waited. I made it through the line quickly, even though it was a very busy Saturday. I got my car back with a fresh oil change and spotless inside and out. I will definitely return and use their services again.

These people are crooks. The last time my mother got her oil changed, she did it here and they convinced her to get her transmission fluid flushed. She got a coupon for doing so. She then sold the car to me and gave me the coupon to use for the next time the oil needed to be changed. I am here now, to use the coupon to get the oil changed and they are trying to swindle me into ANOTHER transmission fluid flush! I will never come here again.

This is the typical story of a girl, an incredibly dirty car and one stellar car wash.
My husband and I are currently sharing a car, so when my step-​brother decided to go visit my Dad & step-​mom for a couple of weeks, my Dad arranged for us to borrow his car, since he wouldn’t be needing it. I was completely jazzed to have an extra set of wheels for a while. Well, in typical college-​guy fashion, the car was a MESS. (I got nothing but love for you, step-​bro. Just real talk.) I drove it for a couple of days and just couldn’t handle the dirt any longer. I also wanted to do something nice for him for letting me use his car. A car wash would be a win-​win!
My husband had taken our car to Lone Star a few weeks ago, and we were totally impressed, so I decided to pay them another visit with my borrowed ride. I was a little skeptical of the end result because there was a lot of work to be done. I sat inside and watched the crew painstakingly scrub and buff every inch of the interior and exterior. They spent far more time than was necessary (and I left them a generous tip for doing so!!) and when I got into the car after they waved towels at me, I was in a state of total shock and awe. It looked like a totally different car! They truly did a stellar job, and I will most definitely be bringing my car here for its baths going forward!

Outstanding place to get your car washed. They treat your car like it is their pride and joy. Customer Service is outstanding. I have taken my car to many different car washes over the last 20 years and this one rates in the top two all time. The prices compare with other car washes of this type and are not out of line.

HORIIBLE customer service. Steer clear of this place!

Me and my dirty ride rolled up to the Lone Star wash on a semi busy Wednesday and was treated to a rock star treatment.
The price was a little steep but their detail to my leather seats, dog fur crazy interior and bird crapped exterior has me on board to come back for more. They were quick, curious and a very clean facility.
48-​hour rain check with the promise if you don’t like it they’ll fix it.
