Friendly staff. Good food! Easy place to bring a group. Overall a really comfortable, causal place and will be back!

Skeeter’s grilled fish tacos are the best fish tacos hands down. Cabbage, cilantro, tasty grilled fish and corn tortillas make it to die for. Katy’s T-Sip Dip is queso with guacamole and taco ground beef-you have to try it!!! All of their meat is very tasty. Draw a pic and they’ll staple it up on the wall. I miss their Neo-Geo arcade; when they had that I thought I had found heaven. Free WiFi; I love to work late and sip a margarita.

Better options in the area. Food quality average but over priced. Disappointed in service.

Went during lunch and it was busy but very fast! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. My boyfriend got Quesadillas with a side of queso. The food was great, it really was. It is just extremely hard for me to get past the fact that they charge 7.95 for one sandwich(no side) and .95c for A SINGLESLICEOFCHEESE. To me, just a bit pricey for the type of restaurant and food.

I like the food and the one star is only for the price. I took my wife for lunch and we had two cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings, and two small drinks. The price was appx $ 25.73, and that to me is way too much. Good food, but way above the price it should be. Charging .90 cents for a piece of cheese is ridiculous. Never again!

As usual, I read most of the other reviews first to see if others had same experience. The reviews are kind of all over the place, so… I went there last evening with the idea of getting a burger for take out. It was my first time to go to Skeeters. When I walked in, there was a display showing their chicken enchilada platter. Looked really good! So, that’s what I ordered for take out. By the time I got home, had to heat it up a little in the microwave. It all still looked great! Then… I took a bite. Instant disappointment. The rice was typical, nothing special, made from«instant» probably. The refried beans just had an odd taste to them. Can’t really describe it, but who wants their food to taste«odd»? My guess is that they are canned, and just a brand I didn’t like. There were three chicken enchiladas, covered with a «chile gravy»(as called by the lady who took the order) which was a very American-style«chili con queso». But there was no chile«kick» to it at all. Again, the taste of the enchiladas was just«odd». They were bland. Something seemed to not be fresh. Just can’t put my finger on it exactly, maybe a kind of «artificial» taste, but again… who wants to have a meal that basically tastes«odd»? So, though they have a few«Mexican» dishes there, I won’t try those again, and do not recommend them. I will probably go back and try out the burgers — pricey(as one would expect from a place like this — but they«sound good» in their description. Unfortunately, it looks like the burgers come totally plain, and anything else costs 95 cents per topping-item. That can make a regular cheese burger run you around $ 10. Though more expensive, I might try the bison. Another reviewer said they are«dry», but bison/buffalo is very low fat. However, there are ways to add«moisture» to them. Maybe Skeeters doesn’t know how to do it?

This place has great fresh food and awesome top shelf frozen margaritas. The chips and salsa are also fresh and the chips are nice and thin and crispy. I wouldn’t say the service is very out going or friendly but you can’t have everything. I will say you can order pretty healthy here and feel good about eating it. Even after the gym.

We will be back for bfast again! Got the buffet and was pleasantly pleased with the breakfast tacos, including the tortillas(& I am very picky about tortillas)!! I always rate a brunch spot on the coffee-Skeeters offered Columbian brewed as well as a choc hazelnut blend. It hit the spot Overall good for brunch!

I’ve only been here a couple times and both times had burgers. Their menu is pretty diverse, but I can only attest to the burgers — which are really good. Turkey burger was moist and flavorful! Bison burger was a little dry, but still tasty. Onion rings were crunchy and fresh. If you’re craving a burger, Skeeters is a great stop. Side note– the bathrooms are a little creepy and dark. The drink station has an outdated tile surface which always looks a little sticky and grungy. I think they keep their place pretty clean, but I think a little updating is in order. However, I still love you Skeeters.

Service is rude and uncaring. Burger was burned. Fajitas were good. Tacos were good. Not returning.

Great burgers, family atmosphere, amazing nachos. Nestled in Cochrans Crossing, you don’t get all the shoppers/non local people who come to the woodlands.

It’s been a while since stopping by Skeeters, so when I got dinner tonight I was dismayed at the change. I always get the grilled chicken salad. In the past it was prepared with a whole breast. My salad tonight didn’t have hardly any chicken in it. It was cut up in little pieces, so small I could hardly find any in the salad. I don’t mind paying their prices if I’m getting quality for my dollars. Sadly, I’ll be taking my business else where.

I ordered the Taco salad to go and it was neatly packed in a box along with the Taco meat and the chile con queso on the side. The order process was very smooth and the restaurant was not overly packed and looked great for large groups during lunch or dinner hours. My colleagues ordered southwest salad and fish taco’s and along with my Taco salad, we were three happy customers! I will definitly visit this place again!

Skeeters is a fun neighborhood grill that’s very kid-friendly and easy on large groups. If you get the right things, the food is outstanding. They do a fried catfish dinner on Fridays, and it’s terrific. The hushpuppies are spicy without being unpleasant, and the fish was crispy, but still moist and flaky on the inside. The Mexican food is all terrific, using house-made tortillas. The burgers are the weakest item for me: the mesquite flavor is light, but evident; however, the buns are just grocery-store style hamburger buns, and the cheese is a Kraft single(not always melted). The fries are frozen, but at least they’re cooked correctly, which is more than a lot of places can manage. I usually skip them, but they’re a hit with kids, and they’re better than fast food burgers. Weekend breakfast is a great time to visit, too. The breakfast buffet will bust the heartiest of guts with an excellent selection of fruit, meat, eggs, waffles, biscuits, etc, etc. If you’re not feeling like eating your day’s allowance in one meal, the breakfast tacos are simple, filling, and cheap. House salsa is tasty, but not spicy. Hot sauce is available if you have to have spice on everything. Anyway, if you’re pretentious or think you’re a sophisticate(Albert, I’m looking at you), this is not your place. If you really are a sophisticate, I think you can appreciate it for what it is. Otherwise, the place is great for families with kids; guys who want to watch the game with a crowd, but without the nastiness of the bar scene or the chaos of BWW; and anyone who needs dinner, but doesn’t have any idea what he wants other than he doesn’t want to cook tonight. For those who care, Skeeters is one of those businesses that gives back by sponsoring local little league teams, swim teams, etc.
