History

Established in 1985.

In July 1985, Truitt A. Mallory and J. Edward Trice, Jr. left the law firm at which they had practiced law for many years to form the partnership Mallory & Trice. The firm was set up for a general practice with an emphasis on real estate, Social Security disability, personal injury, divorce, and probate matters.

​In 1992, the firm built and moved into its present location at 300 West Gordon Street, Thomaston, GA, to allow for future growth. Since the move, Mallory & Trice has added two additional attorneys: Matthew Mallory joined the firm in October of 2003 after being admitted to the Georgia Bar and has since became a partner at the firm. Zachary Davis became associated with the firm in October of 2013 after being admitted to the Georgia Bar.
