This company is the epitome of what makes a bad moving experience — extreme delays, no information, doubling the price, bad service. This company was contacted by World Moving to contract my move. World Moving never told me they had done this and by the time I found out, it was too late. I kept calling World to find out where my stuff was and they said they couldn’t get through to get any information. They said the lines were bad, which I just couldn’t believe, but they were. What company has bad lines these days? Those who don’t really want to talk to customers. The worst. The worst. 3 weeks after the deadline date, I finally got my stuff, with the worst nightmares of talks on the phone with customer ‘service’, dealings with the actual mover, boxes broken, boxes upside down with arrows clearly pointing the other way. Terrible.

The most INCOMPETENT, RUDE people I have ever met in my entire life. They took advantage of both me and my parents. They are THEVES. If I could, I’d give Moving Connection ZERO stars. Moving to a new state is rough in itself. Having the worst movers on the planet made it even more unbearable. We were given a 24-hour window for them to pick up my belongings after paying $ 1,500 up front. Thank God my father was able to stay at home and wait DAYS for them to show up as my mother and I drove down to Arizona. They charged us $ 600 extra to box up my artwork, which I had spent days carefully wrapping in paper for shipment. They were OVER A WEEKLATE delivering my belongings and were INCOMMUNICABLE until literally 12 hours before delivery. I was living out of a suitcase in a hotel and had no idea when my things would be delivered, and the start of my new job was rapidly approaching. My first day of work, they decided to appear. Had my mom not been in town they would have taken my belongings back to some undisclosed location. But first, they said they’d need $ 250 to unload my belongings. My mom protested, and they threatened to take my things back to the warehouse. THEYHELDMYBELONGINGSHOSTAGEFORMONEY. When I arrived at my apartment after work all of the boxes were crammed in my closet. I asked them to move them out, and the lead guy had the nerve to ask me for another $ 100 to do this. I’d rather do it myself. When I asked if they had nailed the beams into my bed to hold the mattress up, one of the guys said«oh! So that’s what those screws are for!» Idiots. Is was like this was the first time they’d moved someone. They forgot their tool kit and had to borrow mine. A couple weeks later my mattress started sagging. I looked under my bed and discovered that the supports to the beams were not fully extended. My mirror on my dresser was not screwed in either; it nearly fell and shattered. The WORST experience I’ve EVER had with a business in my entire life. It would have been cheaper(and less stressful) to rent a uhaul.

I still have not received my household goods. I used the broker, WeHaul, who hired Moving Connection, Inc. Nationwide relocations services. They are two weeks late. I used up 3 vacation days waiting for them to deliver. I received no calls from driver or dispatcher. They forged my family members signature on pick up. They left high price items off inventory. The driver called me an yelled at me, and told me that he would not deliver my elderly parents household goods. This moved was paid for. They allegedly used 12 mirror boxes(sent no mirrors) and charged an additional $ 27.00 per box and added an additional $ 324.00 to the bill. Driver lied over and over, was told after the fact that they broke down, DOT stopped them for log violations, DOT stopped them for tire violations. I believe all of them were lies. My parents still have not received their items, bed, belongings that they have saved a lifetime for. I feel threatened by this driver. If and when he does come, I will have someone with me when they drop it off, if they drop it off.

Do not use this company. We got stuck with them through Nationwide Relocation Services. Worst customer service ever experienced. We waited for over two weeks before our things were delivered(by another company) and the date just kept getting pushed back. No one would ever call us back, they were two days late, and never received a single apology. We got charged more than quoted because we were supposedly over the weight. I will say that the actual movers were all fast and friendly. It’s the company that sucks.
