History

Established in 1977.

Scudder Press was started in Northglenn in 1977 by Ken Scudder. He developed a faithful client base almost immediately by employing the best recipe for success; great service, fast delivery at a great price. Ken was always willing to share his knowledge and help those just getting started in business. Scudder Press continued to grow and offer more services including signs and banners, scanning, design services and advanced bindery. Ken’s children and grandchildren worked the presses, bindery and helped out with bookkeeping and the day-​to-​day operations until he finally decided to retire in 2006. Kevin and Amy Smith and Judy Simon took over the family business and continued in the tradition of community involvement as well as excellence in customer service.

In 2007 They moved Scudder Press to its own building at Russell Blvd and Pearl Street in Thornton, Colorado, where they have expanded their services and expertise in small business printed marketing materials.
