My true passion is working with newborn babies and pregnant mamas. So many photographers today take your picture and toss you a DVD of your photos. But you lose so much value in your photos because most likely you’re not going to print them and hang them on your walls. By investing in me and my art, you will get tangible products to hang on your walls, proudly displayed for all your friends and family to see.

History

Established in 2014.

When I first went out in the big, bright world, I didn’t know what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be. I had done photography as a hobby for some time, but I wasn’t sure I wanted to turn it into a career.

So I went to college for a few years, still unsure about what I wanted to do. I attended a few photography classes, a few design classes, a few general education classes. Then I got married and within a year got pregnant. I had my first baby in June 2009, and soon after I had her, I knew I wanted to do photography. I wanted to capture her beautiful face, and I wanted to provide that to other moms and dads as well.

I ended up having two more children before my business really started going anywhere. In May 2014, I had my youngest child, and after she was born was when I really started to focus on my photography. I finally had the right space (a home studio), the right equipment, and the right motivation.

Thus, Shoot Em Politely was born!
