Love shopping there. Especially a work there name chris. He always helps me. I will ask him for certain things and he’s always willing to help me with them. He should get a raise he’s a really hard and committed worker. I would only come shopping if you was here all the time.

The store is ok. However, there is an older American lady, approx 50 years old who is less than pleasant. She always snaps at people, get angry if you ask a question and God forbid if you dare to return or just exchange an item. She works many times at night, so even when I try to avoid her(as other customers do too, I was told), she is the only one at night hours. There is another 99 cent store in Camarillo. I shop a lot and I prefer to drive little farther rather than gey yelled or insulted by her. 4 times in 3 month is more than enough. Life is short and every time I go to her I get upset. Upset enough to take the time to write this review, and trust me, I was very gentle describing her.

I love coming here. I’ve come to this location since it first opened. Technically I’ve come to this location since it was Roller Dome, but that was ages ago. I probably come here enough that the cashiers recognize me. Some of the things aren’t really a deal. Name brand cheeses are usually only a couple ounces. Yes, you’re paying less, but you’re also getting much less so it’s not much of a deal. You just need to know what you’re looking for. Sometimes they have great name brand things there and it’s quite a steal! We bought Mother’s brand circus animal cookies, the frosted pink and white ones – you know them! We also found a 12 pack of Gushers! Sometimes we have some small talk with the cashiers and they’re pretty nice and helpful. The only reason why this review isn’t 5 stars is because some things aren’t 99 cents. Despite the original name«99 c only», there are things that are more than a dollar. This is a somewhat recent development and it’s a problem on a corporate level, not this individual store. Other than that, this place is great!

This store is huge and I usually always find what I’m looking for. So happy to have it nearby for random goods like paper towels, gift bags, dove soap(when it’s not on sale at costco), etc. I’m always shocked to find name brand stuff here, sooooooo happy it’s in TO.

It felt a little dirty in here to me. I had to ask someone where the trash bags were(things seemed to be placed in weird areas) he didn’t seem to know where anything was, and when I walked away he mumbled something under his breath. I of course turned around and asked him to repeat it(I think he was a little surprised that I heard him AND asked him to say it again) he just looked at me stunned and said the aisle that it could be in. On a sunday the place was packed with people and only two registers open. They repeatedly had to call another cashier over and when someone did come over he was too busy talking to one of the other cashiers, the manager had to finally come over and tell him to open up… really? Hopefully they read their reviews and will improve a little bit. Ill stick with dollar tree though for my first choice.

It sounds kind of odd to be referred by a friend to a 99 cent store but this is probably one of the best $.99 stores I’ve ever been to. They have a huge variety of items. I usually spend over $ 20 here buying tissue paper, gift wrap, and items for when I have a themed party. They even have a grocery section but I’m not brave enough to go that far!

If you’re into everything cheap & made in China, you will hit the jackpot here! Cheap, cheap, cheap! Party supplies, personal care, grocery, candy… They have it all. While I am not a big fan of .99 stores & was really hesitant to enter when my son begged me to go in, I must say I was pleasantly surprised with some of the food items & birthday supplies. For example: Nestlé hot cocoa mix for .99, Zico coconut water for .99, as well as name brand green chili’s & other Mexican food items. While this will clearly not become a regular stop, I will consider swinging in again if I’m in the shopping center. Personally, I’d prefer to spend a bit more and buy fresh and/or organic.

One of my favorite shopping locations! They have a variety of supplies like school supplies, household items, and food. The place is well maintained and clean whenever I shop here. Parking can be a hassle especially during weekends, but it never gets chaotic. Also, be aware that some produce items may be spoilt.

I’ve gone back a few times and the rude cashier women I mention seem to have disappeared. I’ve been helped a few times by a nice girl that says hi and thank you. lol Basic customer service, that’s all we ask for.

This $ 0.99 store is big, clean, and filled with a large variety of products. It is in a small strip mall on Avenida de Los Arboles. It’s also a good place to get 7 lb bags of ice for $ 0.99. Many many standard items are much less than the Albertson’s and Von’s that are nearby.
