I moved from Canada and started seeing Dr. S at 16 weeks pregnant. This was my first pregnancy and I was an anxious, nervous wreck at my first appointment. Dr. S was so patient and kind. Each appointment I’d come in with a huge list of questions. Dr. S patiently and thoroughly answered every one. He obviously loves what he does. He takes excellent care of his patients.
Martina the nurse is a saint. Every appointment she’d give me positive affirmations or have a beautiful birth story to tell me. She’s wonderful.
The office staff is very courteous. They’re very organized and professional. I never waited longer than 5 min to see the doctor.
When I went into labor Dr. S saw me right away. I was admitted to the hospital. My birth didn’t go exactly as planned, but that was mother nature’s fault, not Dr. S’s. When I needed interventions he explained very thoroughly what he was doing and why it had to be done. I did have a bit of tearing and an episiotomy. I’m six days postpartum now and I have no pain. He did a great job fixing me up. I’m very grateful I had someone with so much experience repairing me.
The next day he checked on me. He was very kind and joked around with my family. My Mom exclaimed what a great doctor he is.
Dr. S is an incredible medical professional. My husband and I joke that we’ll have to hurry up and have all of our children before he retires.

I have been seeing Dr. Schoenkerman for many years. I like that he never rushes and always answers all of my guestions. Sometimes I have to wait but I know he is taking the same amount of time with someone else. He is very down to earth and makes me feel like I am important.
He always knocks before he comes in to the examing room. Once I called last minute with a concern and his staff arranged for me to come in right away. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Sometimes I call with an insurance issue and they always try to help.

I should add, last time I was there, I waited for over an hour, then waited for another hour while Dr. S. ran around, confused as all hell about who he was talking to next and about what. There’s really little privacy here. Not sure I’ll be a repeat customer.

I like the guy, but the office is a COMPLETE CLUSTER. ALL THE TIME. Zero stars for that.
Dr. S. is a little too friendly for my OB-​GYN tastes, but I do appreciate the time he takes with me. Probably why every appointment takes 5x longer than it should.
I don’t appreciate the unprofessional office staff. Keep your personal conversations to yourself, please. Oh, and in the few times I’ve been here, I’ve heard each and every staff member exclaim LOUDLY how much they hate being in this new office (which they share with other doctors). Well, that’s lovely, but shut up about it, please. Also, please close the doors before discussing personal matters with patients. Last time I was there, I was waiting in one room (open door) and heard the nurse across the hall ask another patient, at top volume, «SO, ARE YOU SEXUALLY ACTIVE RIGHT NOW?»
