Castle Refinishing

STAY AWAY! My husband and I received a price quote from Chris B. to refinish two of the bathroom showers we have. He completed work on the weekend of August 8^th. A few days later is when I noticed there were areas in the guest bath shower that were peeling off. I attempted to call and email Chris numerous times to tell him about the issue so he could come and fix it. I had to have my husband call Chris from a number he would not recognize so we could get an answer. Chris came out to our home on August 21^st to look at the peeling areas and said it would be no problem to come and correct the errors. He stated he would be at our house on August 24^th at 6 p.m. to complete the work. Needless to say Chris did not show up. We did not receive a call or email. Since then we have been calling and emailing Chris and could not get an answer back. Today I decided to call from a friends phone to see if Chris would answer and he did. He asked me how I was doing and I explained I was upset that he hadn’t showed up as promised. This is when Chris starting acting agitated and tried to tell me that I should be happy about the other bathroom that he had done that didn’t have any issues. I told him that I had a right to be upset about the uncompleted work. This is when Chris started getting irate and stated that he was out of town attending to his sick father, I told him that I completely understand that personal emergencies come up and that I was upset about the lack of communication on his part. This is when he stared shouting numerous expletives at me. He then said «IF YOU EVER CALL THIS EXPLAITVE NUMBER AGAIN I WILL COME AND DESTROY YOUR HOUSE» Chris Botsford is a dangerous man who threatened my person and my home. You do not want this man anywhere near your home. The sad thing is that I received Chris’s number from a friend who had used his services before. Please make sure to do your homework before hiring anyone to come and do work for you. A personal referral is not enough nowadays. I will be filing a complaint with the authorities and the better business bureau. AGAIN WATCH OUT AND DO NOT USE CASTLE REFINISHING!

I made an appointment with Chris for last Thursday at 5pm. He was a no call, no show. I called and texted him after waiting 25 minutes. No response. Wasted my time and pissed me off.

Chris did an awesome job refinishing my tub. It was in bad shape with lots of cracking and chips. In about 30 minutes he had it looking brand new. He arrived on time and was very courteous. I would definitely hire him again!

Castle did an outstanding job on reglazing my tub. Chris is the best, I knew when he would get here and he went right to work, finished the job, cleaned up and didn t leave any kind of a mess. I ve used other reglazers and Castle is the best
