We service ages 2.6 years old to 5 year olds (Transitional Kindergarten).

We offer 2 days and 3 days for younger ages, and 3 & 5 day programs for older children. The transitional kindergarten has an emphasis in math concepts.

Our goal at Christian Preschool is to provide a warm and loving environment that nurtures the whole child. We strive to enrich and help develop the five components of every child:

History

Established in 1966.

Christian Preschool is sponsored by the Christian church of Thousand Oaks and has been successful for over 40 years. The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The director, teachers, and assistants are trained in early childhood education and meet all State and Federal requirements.

My both daughters attended this preschool. It had been a wonderful experience for both of my daughters. One of my daughter started this preschool early at 2.5 years old last year. She did not speak at all for first 6 months, teachers and staff had been wonderful and very patient with her. One day, my daughter finally decided to speak and continued growing so much in the reminder of her first year. Her second year, she kept growing and could not stop talking about everything she had done at school. I loved how she came home singing songs about the Christ all the time. I do plan to send my twin boys there when they are ready. If you are looking for a preschool that provides an excellent education with positive influences of the Christ in an very nurturing environment, you will be very happy with this school.

The past two years that my daughter has attended Christian Preschool have been wonderful. The staff there are truly dedicated to the children and give them a fun, safe, and educational environment. All of the teachers are knowledgable and patient. My daughter loves going to school and begs to attend after school lunch and activities. My son will also be attending this preschool and I look forward to another two years in this nurturing environment. I highly recommend this preschool!

Christian Preschool is a great school choice for your child. Both of my children attended 2 years of pre-​k at CPTO and the school did a great job of preparing them for the rest of their education. They were nurtured academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. All of their teachers and staff are excellent and always went out of their way to help support all the children. Their activities are stimulating, interesting and lot of fun, the extra classes they offered are great and my boys loved the extra stimulation.
The campus is also top quality — safe, clean and filled with many interesting and stimulating play opportunities.
You cannot find a better school choice for your child, than Christian Preschool.

I am currently in my fourth year at Christian Preschool, My son went there for three years, 2 day, 3 day and 5 day Jr. Kindergarten classes. My daughter is in her first year and is registered for next year. I also have a two year old who will start attending when she is old enough. The director, Brenda LaMont, is amazing as is the rest of the staff. The curriculum is bible based and the classes are for more than socializing, academics are an important part of this school. The campus is very secure. There is a before school option from 8:30 to 9:00 and a «lunch bunch» option from 12:00 to 1:00. If you are looking for a preschool that is God-​centered with great people taking care of your child, Christian Preschool is for you.
