Dr. Jeong is a gift. He is so very intuitive and skilled. I started seeing him over a year ago for knee pain, hip pain, plantar fasciitis, each issue seemed to magically disappear. Then I had a trigger thumb it was so bad that I could not bend it at all. ironically my husband had the same issue, he elected to go the surgery route, I kept treating with Dr Jeong and to date I have no issues, no pain and it feels really good. Where as my husband has pain deep in the joint. So back to Dr. Jeong for him, on top of having to endure a month off of work and healing pain from surgery. As for my knee before I saw Dr. Jeong I had 2 surgeries on my right knee in one year. I did about a 18 months total in physical therapy before and after the surgery. I could not walk up or down stairs alternating my step right, left, however after treating I am now able to go up and down stairs again. I even have hopes that I can strap on my hiking boots again and hit the trails. I can even dance with out feeling pain or unsure of myself. The joy I feel with these simple movements that I thought were gone forever motivates me to share with you the extraordinary talent, art, and healing the Dr. Jeong practices!

Amazing! I was at my wits end trying to figure out how I was going to get better. After a spinal surgery and resulting with peripheral neuropathy on my entire right side mostly my arm and neck but later spreading to my legs and toes. I have tried several acupuncture clinics, physical therapy, cortisone shots, pain meds and sometimes massages and then I turned to Unilocal and found Dr. Jeong. I started going to him back in March and he has tremendously helped me get back up. Pain is not completely gone but more manageable but what is most rewarding is that he has helped me wean of pain medications and I am now able to resume exercising on a consistent basis and feel that I am ready to get back to work sometime soon. I have such high respect for this doctor as he sees you not just for the part of your body that you are complaining about but treats your whole body as one whole piece. There were times I would come in for my sessions and without even touching me, knows that I am weak in some parts and he would give me some herbs to take. He somehow knew or felt that I was coming down with a cold/​allergy/​flu and he would nip it in the bud. Therefore, shorter healing time and not a long down time which also helps in the recovery of my overall health. At one point I had a ganglion cyst on my wrist and was recommended to have it removed surgically which would have cost me a fortune again, possible side effects and possibly a long recovery time and he looked at it, said no problem, aspirated it, pain and cyst now gone. I have been having right neck and shoulder pain, I have 2 disc in my neck that there is no gap between them due to an old injury I received in an old car accident many years ago. I now has a little arthritis in my right side of the neck I have some what of a frozen shoulder and having pain in my shoulder and down my arm. I have been going to chiropractor, receiving physical therapy in which it helped some. I saw Dr. Jeong on Monday and went to see him again yesterday and I can actually move my arm considerable much more than before, I still need treatment and will continue to go, I also am a diabetic with problems sleeping and after the first treatment I slept so much better, first night sleep I have had in a long time. I didn’t know what to expect, but seriously when he put the needles in me all I felt was a little pinch, didn’t hurt, mostly just pressure. He is that good. His wife runs the office, very sweet lady. I have been a patient of Dr Jeong for over 5 years and his acupuncture treatments have helped relieve pain from overused muscles and stains. I recently went to see him for tennis elbow Pain that I’d had for a while. After a few treatments the pain is remarkably gone. He has also treated me for Achilles’ tendon pain caused from running and hiking. Since the treatment I have been pain free. He is currently treating me for a bruised tailbone resulting after a fall. I have no doubt that he’ll have pain free vey soon.
I have had the blessing of finding a doctor who really knows how to help when others have said that I would have to just live with the problem or pain!

I had severe neck pain one morning, to a point where I was unable to turn my head or even move. I have never experience this type of neck pain in my life. Originally I was going to the doctors but my friend recommended me to go to an Acupuncturist first. I was a bit reluctant since I have never had it done before, nor did I think it would even work. My friend finally convinced me to try it and searched on Unilocal for the closest acupuncturist in my area with good reviews/​recommendations and found Dr. Jeong.
Since this was my first time, I was really nervous and still a bit skeptical but Dr. Jeong and his staff made me feel at ease and very comfortable. Dr. Jeong was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He was very attentive and pleasant.
After the treatment was completed (which took a bit over an hour for me) I was amazed by my results and how much my neck felt so much better. Don’t get me wrong, I was not 100% but I was at least 80−85% better than what I was before.
I do recommend Dr. Jeong to anyone who has had joint/​muscles pain.

Dr. Jeong is amazing!!! Had severe neck pain and was unable to move it at all. I searched for the closest Acupuncturist and found conejo Accupuncture a few miles away. Manage to get same day appt. Dr. Jeong was very attentive and took down detailed notes. He put a few needles in and when I was done the pain was 90% gone with full movement of my head. He is by far one of the best Acupuncturist I’ve seen. If you have pain this is a place you need to try. Thank you dr. Jeong.

I have suffered for over a year with severe peroneal tendonitis which limited me walking to slow, short trips in the house, caused increased lower back pain and aggravated scoliosis. Our orthopedic surgeon noted that if I did not get any relief soon, he would consider surgery to debride the area. Dr. Yoon Ki Jeong was recommended to me. I was very leery of acupuncture as a whole, but decided to give him a try. He has the most pleasant countenance and demeanor. After only two treatments I could walk with almost no pain and my back pain was nearly gone. My feeling: «This is miraculous! I had given up hope!» Continued painless treatments have resulted in improved posture, reduced pain to where I can now walk long distances at a normal rate. He is gentle and very careful. He is not out to make a lot of money, but instead his goal is to make his patients feel better — which gives him great pleasure. I am convinced without his treatments I would be in a wheelchair and walker. I highly recommend Dr. Jeong to anyone who is struggling with pain.

After delivering a baby 9 months ago, being an Asian woman, my left knee and right wrist were not usable properly. I couldn’t walk well, couldn’t stand up still, couldn’t bent my knee, couldn’t write well, and couldn’t lift my son. It was so painful that I couldn’t sleep well for months. I went to many acupuncture clinics for months and was not getting better. My friend referred me this place from my friend. I didn’t trust Dr. Jeong since I failed all acupunctures with many doctors. But I had no choice coming in because there was nowhere to go. I just have to say it was amazing how I got better after four times of treatment and how he handled patient. My knee and wrist got so much better that I can do everything without any pain now. He even taught me self treatment I can do at home so I can recover faster. He truly does not go for money. He satisfies when he sees patients getting better at shortest time possible.
I live in LA and I traveled to Thousand Oaks every Saturday for a month. He told me to stop coming for treatment now and to concentrate on self treatment. I really appreciate how he made my life better. Now I can play with my son without pain.

I was in Thousand Oaks on vacation and had really hurt my neck a week prior. I had gone to 3 chiropractors and 2 massages and none of them were helping with the pain or range of motion of my neck and head. My wife found Dr. Jeong on Unilocal and I was slightly hesitant because he only had one review. But his receptionist was very nice over the phone and they were able to accommodate me with a same day appointment.
Just a quick note. That I am VERY afraid of needles.
Dr. Jeong immediately made me feel very comfortable and even did a full body assessment prior to the acupuncture.
When it finally came down to sticking those needles in me, Dr Jeong gave me the time I needed to get mentally prepared putting my headphones in to help me distract myself. And it turned out I was worried about nothing. I just felt a little pinch 6 separate times on my hands and feet and 15 – 20 minutes later, after he then massaged and worked on my neck and back, I was walking out feeling limber and great. My range of motion drastically increased and the stiffness was mostly gone.
I would strongly recommend Dr Jeong to anyone who is dealing with any stiffness or muscle/​joint pain. Unfortunately I don’t live in town, but if I do visit the Thousand Oaks area I’ll definitely come back for a visit!

I first met Dr. Jeong (pronounced Jung) about two years ago while he was at his Port Hueneme office. I must add that I was a bit nervous to try acupuncture, but my husband has used it successfully over the years for a number of aches and pains.
One day I woke up with extreme wrist pain, and my husband suggested I give it a try. I held out and went to a traditional doctor and they x-​rayed the wrist and found nothing. I was then sent for an MRI and they found something wrong with a tendon. I was given a brace and sent on my way. The pain did not subside and there was nothing further that they could do other than wait for it to heal. I have two young kids and I type all day as part of my job. Ouch! I decided to give Dr. Jeong a try.
When I arrived (no appointment needed, but it doesn’t hurt to call to confirm that he is onsite and available) I found a kind and compassionate professional. He asked me a series of questions and then began treatment. I was a bit surprised to find that I could hardly feel the needles, and he didn’t use any directly on my wrist.
After treatment he asked me to come back one more time. That night the pain in my wrist was actually a bit worse. My first instinct was to assume that acupuncture wasn’t for me. My husband assured me that the treatment was working and that I should see it through one more visit. I am glad that I did. After my second treatment, the pain subsided completely.
For someone who relies on typing all day, this injury was a big deal, and I’m so glad I gave acupuncture a try. I have since take my daughter in for a soccer injury and my husband goes for his aches and pains. Dr. Jeong also works with herbs that can help a variety of ailments as well. He really seems dedicated to helping the whole patient.
In case you are wondering, the clinic is clean, comfortable and Dr. Jeong has a very impressive resume and track record. Just note that although his accent can be difficult at times to understand, his understanding of English is excellent, and his practice of acupuncture is nothing short of miraculous. Give him a try. You won’t regret it.
