We have been using Vernon for almost five years and always had a great experience, He just recently pulled us out of a jam with and escrow company. its is always good to hve someone like Vernon who knows what his is doing and does it right the first time.

I unfortunately needed an attorney to help me. I was referred to Vern by one of my friends. I am always a little worried when a friend refers me just in case it doesn’t work out. But I’ve got to tell you that Vern Ellicott made an impossible and miserable situation into something simple and easy. It wasn’t easy at all. He just made me feel confident that this was going to be done and that what he did. He made the whole thing go away and saved my life. Thank you Vern for making me feel so comfortable and less stressed out. I would refer Vern to anyone that needs his professional services! He is simply the best at what he does!

I had a very positive and comfortable experience with Mr. Ellicott. My case was a child custody and name change case (uncontested) and from the very beginning he was very knowledgeable and sensible and that carried throught the duration of my case. He communicated with me frequently to keep me informed of all of the milestones and everything was completed within the time line he gave me. He was also very easy to access, returned emails and phone calls right away. Im very greatful for everything he accomplished for me and my daughter and for making it an easy experience.

Horrible lawyer! Doesn’t even deserve one star. I had a simple non-​contested case, all he had to do was fill out and file paperwork and he couldn’t even handle that! The only thing he’s good at is taking your money by over-​charging. I was even charged to fix his mistakes. He tells you what you want to hear at his «free» consultation. He said my case could be completed in a matter of a few months, and I would be refunded the balance of my retainer or «trust account.» That was a joke! Over a year and a half later and still absolutely nothing has been done. He probably drug it out so long just to use up all my retainer money. Nothing is final nothing has even been filed. He took all my money and now I can’t even afford another attorney to handle my case and fix his mess. I’ll probably just file paperwork myself. I paid him 4k and got absolutely nothing in return! Only thing I got was his bills each month where he was over charging me! For example phone calls that last less then 5 minutes are charged at 30 minutes or more. He charged me a couple of hours to «review» my file. When I pointed out things like mis-​spellings, debts listed as credits, and things worded not the way I requested in the first place, I get charged another couple of hours for them to fix their mistakes. They never did get it right, they just depleted my «trust account» then stopped. The way he does business can’t be legal. I’m not the only one he scammed, check reviews elsewhere on-​line and you’ll see plenty of bad ones. Apparently he’s been doing business this way for years. Wish I would have checked him out better before wasting my time and all my money!
