I hate leaving bad reviews, but I’m still bothered by the staff when trying to make an appointment. I must say, I never got to meet the much-​loved Dr. Y, but his staff was so rude and unhelpful I was turned off completely.
The first thing she said when I called to book a physical was, «Just so you know, Dr. Yousefia does not prescribe painkillers». Ummm ok? I asked for a physical, I didn’t even mention the word pain. I found that odd.
Then told me I needed blood work first.
What? Where? When? Can you explain?
After asking where, she hands me 3 sheets of addresses I can get it done.
Please be more informative. You left a horrible taste in my mouth and now I won’t get to meet the famous Dr. Y.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yousefia for over 8 years. During that time, I’ve been seen for routine yearly physicals & several emergent issues. Dr. Yousefia has always been very thorough and professional. His newer staff, Jackie & Donna, are very polite & pleasant. Many of the nursing staff at Los Robles recommend him. He has a very busy practice. Reputable internist. Recommend.

Hands down the best general physician in Thousand oaks. Have been to other doctors in TO but was never happy with them. Finally found Dr Yousefia who is a very good doctor, knowledgeable and takes time listening to you, got good bed side manners. and suggests proper treatment. He has a very good sense of humour .Me and my wife have been going to him for 3 years and have been very happy with him. His follow up after your visit shows how much he cares about his patients. I have recommended him to few of my friends who have thanked me after their very first visit.
The front room staff is very polite and kind.

For altogether selfish reasons, I’d like to keep it a secret, but yes, the other reviewers are exactly right. Dr Yousefia is the very best.
How long a physician like him can remain in private practice is in serious question, thanks to Obamacare. The regulations being imposed are clearly intended to drive independent medical providers into large, utterly indifferent clinic-​style settings, and any doctor attempting to continue in private practice already faces a formidable challenge.

Dr. Yousefia is amazing. I have been his patient for nearly 15 years and in those years he has been nothing but supporting, knowledgeable and caring. I cannot think of a better doctor to have as my physician. Best doctor in LA hands down

We have been patients of Dr. Yousefia for over 2 years. He is very, very through and very professional at all times. He has exceptional medical knowledge and does what is necessary but no more. Under a difficult, exceedingly trying medical situation he acted quickly and decisively. We can’t thank him enough. Without question,
we would characterize him as one of the best doctors in the LA Region.
