Rigo gave a thorough inspection to the car and did a good job. Check engine light came on and it turned out to be just some faulty or worn out spark plugs. I felt Rigo was transparent as well and kind to give me a bottle of water while I waited. Everyone fears going to the mechanic with car issues because you know it’s going to cost you something – you just have no idea if it will be $ 50 or $ 500, or even a grand.
Rigo worked on my car for 2 hours, replaced the spark plugs, gave the car the diagnostic check plus put it up on the hi-​lift to inspect all over the car. Total Cost was $ 218. Work was done on a Saturday. I can live with that price knowing everyone has to make a living and be paid for their work. Could I have fixed the check engine light if I knew how to diagnose it and buy and install the spark plugs? Sure, and it would have been $ 20 bucks. But alas I didn’t know how to do it and so an honest man made a days wage. Fine by me for the quality of work. I’d recommend this spot if you have a Saab or Volvo.

Rigo of Zavi SAAB is totally awsome!!! He is honest, hard working, and extremely knowledgable about SAABS. He took the time to explain the nature of the repair to me, physically showed me on my car where the problem was, answered every single one of my questions patiently, and even allowed me to watch him perform all of the work. He took great care and gave special attention to all of the small details involved in the repair. Many mechanics will just rush through their repairs, and not take the time to do it correctly the first time, not Rigo. Even after the repair Rigo has continued to provide technical support that I can trust and rely on.
At the end of the day Rigo helps to put all of my worries about my SAAB to rest. In all my years of dealing with mechanics I can’t think of anyone who I enjoyed giving my business to more than Rigo of Zavi SAAB. I highly recommend him. Thanks Rigo!

I think they changed owners in the last few years. A Hispanic gentleman owns it now, it used to be an Eastern European who REALLY knew these cars. I went there to change a fuel pump. They charged me $ 700 ($ 50 more then dealer BTW, wish I would have known), and now the car smells of fuel. They spilled fuel on the rear seats and protective covering, and now two months later, I’m still dealing with the smell. I have to leave the windows open at night. F***ing ridiculous!

One of the best shops to take your Volvo! My 93 960 has been acting up lately, and being new to the area I wanted to find a Volvo shop that would look after my trusty 960. I love the car, it’s majestic and classy while driving down the road. It’s a car that you are proud to drive. It’s not just a Volvo, it is a part of the family. It deserves good treatment.
So when it started having idle issues, a check engine light with error codes flashing at me, I decide to take it in and get it check out. I am glad I did. Rigo is one of the nicest people I have met. After talking with him about what was going on, he started working on it. When I came back mid day to check up on his progress, he went through in detail things that he found and what I should be looking out for. When I picked up the car, he was still telling me what to look for as I drive. BTW. the idle issue is gone and the car runs like a champ once again!
Since this is a specialty shop, the prices are a bit higher (though not out of touch with reality) than the Three Stooges car shop, but you know that Rigo only deals with Volvos and Saabs, not all the other manufactures out there.
If you are looking for a Certified shop for your Volvo, drive on over to Rigo at Zabi and he will give your car the best service, just like he did to my 960.
