Wow. I have been a loyal Kassab customer for as long as I can remember and have always had the best customer service with anything from a purchase to an adjustment but I have to say after today my family and I may need to find our selves a new jeweler. One of my earring backs on my diamond studs broke and the salesman who helped me was trying to charge me $ 115 for a new back! Seriously? This happened to the other back and Mr. Kassab replaced it for me with no charge. Not only was this ridiculous on top of that he was rude about it and made me feel like I did something wrong. Good to know this is how they are choosing to do business now.

Kasaab had some good reviews and a friend got her ring from here, so we checked them out looking for men’s wedding bands. They were loaded with variety. Probably the best selection of men’s bands we have seen. We kind of had an idea of what we were wanting, but it was one of those situations where you’ll know it when you see it. We found two bands that were that, except we wanted a specific gem added to it. They said no problem. They’d get us some pictures and a quote the next day. We waited. Next day, we got nothing. Day after. Nothing. Week later. Nothing. They don’t deliver on what they promise.
Additionally, their prices are substantially higher. We got a quote for a similar ring to be made by our family jeweler who we had done business with for decades for $ 1500. Similar ring at Kasaab, same comfort fit, same quality of stones and gold was well over $ 2000. When I mentioned to fiancé that we could get the ring custom made EXACTLY what he wanted for less, they started asking who our jeweler was, as they more than freely dissed every other store we had said we previously looked at. Stand by your quality of products, folks. Don’t lower yourself to throwing blows at your competitors products.
I guess we would’ve appreciated if you had actually followed through with getting a design and quote to us. Maybe we just worked with a really poor employee? Either way, I can’t recommend or bother to do business with a store that can’t even follow through with a quote.

I scheduled a Ritani Diamond free preview at Kassab Jewelers. David thoughtfully offered to provide competitively priced diamonds to compare to the online Ritani Diamond. The Ritani Certified Gemologist helped me to select a GIA Certified light carat round brilliant 94 point diamond, G-​color, VS2 clarity and an HCA score of 1.4 to be shipped to the store. In addition, Ritani provided a SARIN report showing that their diamond provided a Hearts & Arrows ASET image. When I arrived for the free in-​store preview, John helped me to view and compare the loose Ritani Diamond to the one comparable diamond available from Kassab Jewelers. The two essentially one-​carat diamonds were both fabulous. Their GIA Certified round brilliant diamond was a 93 point, G-​color, SI1 clarity with an HCA score of 0.6, which is a remarkably low cut score. Any diamond with an HCA score below 2.0 is considered an excellent cut. John showed me that their diamond also had a very good Hearts & Arrows image. The Store Manager, Kevin, examined to see if the loose diamond could be set in my wife’s ring, and said that his goldsmith, Simhon, could provide me with an estimate to set the diamond later that day. When I returned to Kassab Jewelers later that evening, I reviewed both loose diamonds for a second time with David. Finally, I decided to purchase the beautiful diamond from Kassab Jewelers. It was great working with David, John, Kevin and Simhon on a such a major purchase.

Would highly recommend. Had anniversary band diamonds made into a necklace pendant. They were patient and helpful with the design. They were friendly and professional. I plan on going back! My necklace is incredible. LOVE IT! Skilled and professional.

I can’t say enough about what a first class store this is… I brought a ring in to be repaired, the band had completely split apart and the price they quoted me was less than the «fix it» place in the mall that’s supposed to be cheap. They got it done that day. They are always friendly, professional, and so skilled at what they do. I also had them fix a ring that held a medal my son gave me and meant a lot to me even though it wasn’t worth a lot. They took care of it like it was worth a million dollars. They always treat me like I’m a celebrity no matter what I’m in there for. I am so grateful to have such a trustworthy, first class business like this! If I ever move to another state, I’ll still come to Kassab for my repairs and purchases of fine jewelry!

We worked with David and he was absolutely fantastic! He listened to our ideas and wants, and really helped us hone in on exactly what we were looking for. He truly went above any beyond — doing research between our visits, talking to his various sources, and emailing us more information as he received it. David was especially fun to work with and made for a great experience.

My fiancé and I came here to pick out an engagement ring together as a couple in July. We walked into this store in complete fear of the unknown. We knew nothing about diamonds or engagement rings. However, the second we walked through the door we were welcomed in a complete professional and yet heart warming manner. John chimm, (who is a god send by the way) made us feel very welcomed and at home immediately. We automatically knew that this was where we were meant to choose our ring. John was very patient and helped us in ways that are indescribable. He is extremely knowledgable at what he does, and does such a great job at helping newbies like ourselves understand as well. He went way above and beyond to help us find the most beautiful setting and diamond in our budget. After we chose our setting, John searched and searched, and searched some more to find us the most beautiful center piece diamond ever. Three weeks later after our custom Ritani ring was finished I finally got see and wear my ring. Seeing it for the first time nearly brought tears to my eyes. Okay okay, it did bring tears to my eyes. :) I cannot stress how awesome and amazing the staff is at kassab jewelers Washington Square Mall. They put their customers wants and needs at the top of their to do list and make sure they do everything humanly possible to make you happy. If you are looking for a place to find the perfect ring, this is definitely the right location. With numerous designers to choose from, you will not leave disappointed. I promise. And ask for John you won’t regret it!

I can’t even express with words how amazing my experience has been with Kassab Jewelers. They are so customer service oriented– very genuine, honest, classy yet comfortable and they listen to your wants and needs. I have been a repeat customer over the years, and they have never failed me!!! Rana is amazing– you have to go see her for your engagement/​wedding or jewelry needs– she will take care of you and treat you like gold. I am incredibly particular and I trust her immensely. Kassab has a solid reputation-​go check them out!

Pierre was fantastic! After researching a few jewelers and rings with my soon-​to-​be fiancée, I knew what she wanted. We couldn’t find an exact match. I contacted Pierre and set an appointment. Within 15 minutes of providing background info to Pierre, he and his colleague showed me four rings. Each one was close and the fifth was a perfect match!
Twenty minutes, I was in and done. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other stores. They explained everything in detail, provided all supporting documentation, and provided great follow up!

What an amazing experience at kassab’s. And especially Sandra!!! I went there initially in nov 2014 and brought in a ring I wanted designed. Sandra’s customer service was top notch… never pushy… and just treated me like a family member. After she did all the preparations to plan for my engagement ring… I made a decision to wait… Most sales representatives would have been upset, but Sandra said no worries joe… if and when you are ready we hope u come back when the timing is right? Wow. Just a genuine person that I could trust with such a big item. Well, I’m happy to say that ⁵⁄₂₀₁₅ … Because of my initial experience …I contacted Sandra… and a month later my ring was designed and I have a gorgeous ring for my future bride!!! Kassab jeweler’s. U do excellent work and you have a keeper in Sandra!

I was referred to Kassab by more than one person. I had the pleasure of working with Sandra Cagley at Kassab. What a classy establishment with great value and customer service. I bought a Tacori ring that my girlfriend had had her eye on (Thanks Pinterest) and Sandra helped me through the whole process, sizing understanding how to buy and all. As soon as I had a down payment I really just wanted to order a ring as soon as possible! I was so excited. I emailed Sandra and asked for some options in my price range. She gave me three options laid out really nice that I could afford and understate. I shopped around and compared tons of websites (don’t do that, I learned in the end only your eye can help you shop). I found one online joint that was comparable that could beat it be less than 3%. No way was 3% online going to beat my locally owned Jeweler that has been so great. Especially Kassab (I’m embarrassed).
As soon as she sent them I picked one and then she rushed to get it finished before I left on my trip to Hawaii to propose. I just didn’t have the money to purchase the rest of the ring though before I left even after making her rush it (sorry Sandra). When I got back from Hawaii she was still holding on to it for me until I could get the money. Two weeks later I pick up the diamond. It’s perfect and so beautiful, but after looking at it for a couple weeks I really decided that I wanted a bigger diamond and something in the colorless category. I took it back two different times to see if they had something in my price range that I could get that was what I wanted. Between this she answered a lot of my ails as well. After the second time going back in, Sandra is still SO sweet, helpful and understanding. I was that client, the no one wants. But she acted like I was her most important customer and helped me until I found the exact stone I wanted. When I saw it, I knew. I could not be more happy nor could my fiancé. Finally! Thank you Kassab, and especially to Sandra Cagley!
My advice for anyone buying a ring is to take the time to look at it before you buy. When you see the one you want you’ll know it.

I worked with Sandra to find a beautiful engagement ring. She was so helpful, and was genuinely interested in my plans for popping the question! Her communication was great, and I am very pleased!

What a great experience! For my 10 year anniversary, I wanted to reset my diamond and design a custom ring. John Chhim was AMAZING! Over a years time, I must have stopped into the store 8 times to talk about what I wanted, look at options and dream about the ring that I might be able to have in the future. Every time, John took time to talk with me, work with me and write down everything I wanted to keep on file for the day when the time might come that my husband and I could take the plunge. I never felt that he didn’t have time for me and never felt pressured to make the purchase before it was the right time or the ring was just right.
My husband FINALLY walked in the door with me a few weeks ago and as of yesterday the ring of my dreams is mine!!! I love it!
In the end, John and Sandra worked with me to put together a beautiful ring that has my original ring as part of the design while also encompassing the new elements that I love.

We came here to pick my engagement ring. We had already selected the center stone prior to shopping for the actual band and they were helpful at coloring the CZ center stones on the rings so we could get an idea of what it would look like at the end.
I tried multiple times to get a sneak picture of the ring because my boyfriend is keeping that a secret and they were great at not letting me even see the appraisal when I tried :-)
Would definitely go through them for their professionalism and knowledge. I can’t wait to see my ring!

What a great experience in purchasing an engagement ring. They were very helpful in showing options that were within the budget and the style requested. Start to finish they were nothing but professional and helpful. I would recommend they to everyone looking for engagement/​wedding rings.

I had a platinum ring custom made using the diamonds that I had accumulated over the years. They created a digital 3 dimensional image with in 2 weeks and the ring was done 2 weeks later. Very good service. Quality was very good. Worked with Kevin and Mr. Kassab. The only thing was periodically, another gentleman would answer the phone and would not relay messages, so I would need to call back again.

Wow! Did this store make my buying experience memorable! From the moment we walked in I was, as always, swept off my feet. The store is beautiful and clean, the sparkle of the display cases rivals the diamonds themselves, and the sales consultants are so very attentive.
Tiffany’s may be better known, but in reality Kassab is Portland’s premier jeweler. Siemky and I had impeccable service the first time around when we were looking to purchase an engagement ring. Fast forward about a year, now its time to purchase our wedding band.
Red carpet, white glove, five star, however you say it the service we received from John Chhim was impeccable. From the time I decided to commit on my engagement ring, I knew exactly which wedding band I wanted. It was still fun to try on different bands and mix and match, but my heart was already set for the Michael B Touch Collection Flatband. Since our purchase of the engagement band we had visited Kassab a dozen times. John and the team always took extra time and care to make sure my engagement ring was in tip-​top condition. They inspected the prongs and such, and of course gave it a complimentary cleaning. It was practically impossible for my fiancé to peel me away from the store every time we visited.
What I love the most is that regardless of how many countless visits I made to Kassab, John has always made us feel like its our first time. He always greets us with a big smile from ear to ear, he has a warm vibe, and always remembers our names and welcomes us with enthusiasm. John remains engaged, helpful, and patient with us even if he knows we’re «just looking». I can’t express how much that means us. Don’t be deceived by John’s youth, his knowledge seems boundless yet somehow he always makes things easy for us to understand.
We will surely be visiting Kassab for future milestones and anniversaries! And if I can help it, even more often than that! Because diamonds are truly a girls best friend, and I feel like I’m buying from a good friend whenever I go in to see John!

My boyfriend and I decided that we were ready to take the next step of our relationship, seven years later. Two months ago, I walked into Kassab Jewelers to window shop for my perfect engagement ring. Sandra Cagley greeted me with a smile and was nothing but helpful (seeing as I had no idea about diamonds). I decided on customizing a Ritani ring to my liking. She immediately emailed me the picture of my dream ring and paved the way through this process. On the next visit a week later I brought my boyfriend in, and he had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. We ended up purchasing our ring, and received it about 2 – 3 weeks later.
I work in the customer service industry, and I would strongly recommend going to Sandra Cagley at the Washington Square Mall location to find your perfect ring! She was professional, caring, and very attentive. Thank you so much Sandra for making this experience an awesome one!

I stopped by 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. There were 5 employees, only one was with a customer. I walked the whole store until Sandra finally dragged herself out of her seat to greet me because she probably realized I wasn’t gonna leave. I tried on a few rose gold rings and had asked her to write down 2, she offered to email me the pictures.
A whole week went by and no email. I called the store on Friday asking for her, the gentleman said she must be too busy preparing for the Tacori show that weekend. No problem, I asked him to let her know I was still interested in the rings.
Another week went by and still no email. I sent her an email asking for the pictures, that was Friday. Today is Monday haven’t heard from her.
I guess I wouldn’t be shopping there!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Kassab Jewelers.
After going to the other big retailers in the Portland area I felt I would never find my ring. Then I went to Kassab and met Rana.
Rana was very patient with me. I am extremely particular to an OCD extent. I tried ring after ring on, thinking I’d like one thing, but apparently I had very little clue of what I liked. Rana pointed me in the direction of Tacori, which is a handcrafted & designer label line, and I found my ring! Next step was Rana letting my now hubby know, and him picking the diamond with her assistance. We very much appreciated Rana taking her time searching for the perfect diamond for the set. It did take a week or so until she found the highest quality diamond for our budget, but so worth it. When we had the diamond and ring appraised it was worth a great deal more than we paid.
We bought my husbands band from Kassab as well. The selection of mens rings was quite impressive.
Kassab’s customer service is phenomenal. I’m always greeted with a smile, and no high pressure sales even when just dropping my rings off for a cleaning.
