Specialties
Guiding sport anglers since 1991 in Oregon and Alaska.
Bob Rees has been guiding sportfishers for over 2 decades. Specializing in salmon, steelhead and sturgeon, the Oregon Coast offers a multitude of opportunities for avid and beginning anglers alike.
Whether you’re fishing from my driftboat in pursuit of steelhead on a local area river or from my jet sled that gives you access to the bounty that exists on our coastal bays or Pacific Ocean, Bob gives you his all-out effort on and off the water.
Bob takes his profession seriously, often advocating for fish and conservation issues throughout Oregon. Founder and president of the NW Guides and Anglers Association, he’s always «angling» for better opportunity for sportanglers.
Come and see all that Oregon has to offer with some of the best Chinook returns in decades. Not only are these fish fun to catch but some of the healthiest and delicious food sources available in the Northwest!
History
Established in 1996.
Following a short career with The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Bob’s passion for fishing was easily transferred over to his career in guiding. First guiding in Alaska from 1991 — 1996, Bob was able to live his dream by landing multiple Chinook salmon topping 60 pounds, including his biggest guided fish at 71#.
Realizing his connection to Oregon, he began his business in 1996, flourishing in productive salmon, steelhead and sturgeon fisheries. Bob’s ability to connect with his clientele has allowed his business to prosper, making it a full-time career choice for him. It can be difficult to get a seat on his boat during peak season with many of his clients booking seats nearly a year in advance. None-the-less, Bob seems to try his best to accommodate the needs of his customers and enjoys taking out families that are willing to introduce kids to fishing; the future of our sport.
Let Bob introduce you to all the bounty Oregon has to offer you!
