I have never felt so taken advantage of and have been so dissatisfied by a company. From the time last year when they started digging till just the other day having them opening my pool, I feel lied to and screwed over. I am the father of 7 children and this was a HUGE investment we took on and a bigger headache than I could ever imagine, but we wanted to do this for our kids. We moved to our home 1 year prior to having the pool installed and It has been a nightmare since they started last July. There is NO communication at all with their customers. When they do get around to finally informing you of whats going on its a lie with a run around and a bill attached! I understand construction jobs come with unknowns but every unknown cost me a lot of money and the fix was already made before I would get a chance to go over the details and make a decision. Yet the Salesman that sold us the pool told us he would be there every step of the way and would keep us up to date on everything, which the exact opposite occurred. They are just looking to pad their wallets. The thing that has sent me over the edge to write this review is the so called opening of my pool the did on Friday of which cost me $ 250 and they were in and out in 20 minutes. We were asked what type of cover we had on the pool when setting up the appointment. There was some miss-​communication from the office person that set this up with my wife and we were told that included in the cost of $ 250 was the removal, cleaning and folding up of the cover. I guess the cover we have is not included in the pool opening because its a tarp cover but we were never told this. They only take off the safety covers. The 2 kids show up to open my pool and NEVER said anything to me that my cover was not part of the deal of the opening. They showed up when I was getting my kids ready and off to school so I only got to see them adding chemicals to the pool and installing the filter. Turns out that they basically pulled the tarp off my pool and everything on top got dumped in the pool!!! And to boot they rolled it up in a ball leaving it to the side. Are you kidding me? Who does this and what kind of customer service is this? They NEVER once said anything to me about the type of cover I have. Since I didnt know this the Head guy told me that all I need to do is scoop out the rest of the leaves and watch the filter and empty it over the next few days and the pool will clean itself. Well if I listened to them my kids would NEVER get to swim in the pool. Because 2 ½ days later and 14 hours of work I am STILL trying to scoop out the crap they dumped in! I have carted off 4 wheel barrels full and I am still scooping leaves. SO I basically paid this company $ 250 to dump the all the crap on the cover in my pool! Had they told me this up front or when they showed up I would have pulled the cover off myself and make sure nothing fell into the pool. I had a pool at the last house I lived in and have been opening pools for 20 years I know what I am doing. Since this was installed last year and was the first year I had to open it I hired Northern Pools, who installed the pool last year for me, to open it and watch and learn so I can open it myself. My wife called and spoke with Steve and he told her and myself that they typically charge $ 200 to pull my type of covers and that they wouldn’t charge us extra for what they did! Really? Well thank you for being so kinBecause my 12 year old could have done a better job himself. I will NEVER hire this company to do anything for my pool ever again! Be careful because I am not the only one that has been taken advantage of and screwed over!
