Reasons why you should stay here: 1. Conveniently located right off of the 93. 2. Room wise, it was one of the better Super 8’s. 4. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. 5. There’s a nice Tilt’n Diner just across the street. 6. Cheap daily rates. 7. Room comes with a fridge and a microwave. Reasons why you shouldn’t stay here: 1. I believe they have smoking rooms and the lobby reeked of smoke. I stayed here to run a marathon up in the city of Bristol. It was decent, clean, and cheap. Stay here if you just need a place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning, but don’t expect anything luxurious.

This hotel was cheap, clean, pretty quiet, and had a pretty decent breakfast. It is everything a $ 50 hotel room should be.

The paint isn’t matching in the bathroom(two shades of green splotched in touch ups) and an unfinished wood board is holding up the«granite» ledge in the bathroom. The price was jacked up to 80 a night, no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and previous occupants long black hair and small black hair tie in the middle of the room. The front desk was hospitable and courteous which is why I will give 2 stars.

My travels to New England stopped at the Super 8 here in Tilton /Winnipesaukee in very rural New Hampshire. After a 2 ½ hour drive that included a stop in Manchester for dinner, I checked into this Super 8, which was easy to find. Right off the I-93 North, you could see the Super 8 signage, so it was good to just see that instead of trying to find it within the town of Tilton when you’re tired and want to get to sleep after a long drive. I found that this Super 8 is very good for what I paid for it. A bit like a mini Sheraton, where the beds were nicely done and the room ambiance was almost ideal, so that was very good. Clean and orderly, you have your basic amenities here and it was comfortable. There was a private lot for guests and there is restaurants nearby, with a McDonald’s next door. The lobby was clean and empty as I strolled in. Checking in was a breeze and the person who was there was pleasant and nice. For the price, it was as good as it can be and I’m not that picky, since I’ve stayed at Motel 6 before and it was good there too. So, Super 8 brand is good and definitely recommended. They also have free breakfast for registered guests, which was your basic hotel continental breakfast spread. At least it was free and you didn’t have to spend $ 10 at an IHOP if you didn’t have to. They do have a small work out room with a couple of treadmills in there, so that was cool. Assuming that they have that for guests in the winter months who want that amenity. The bed was comfortable and I had a blissfully good night sleep and that was sort the price of admission. I did smell a tinge of cigarette smoke in the room, but I suspect it came from another room. Didn’t bother me though. The rates are good, compared to others in the surrounding areas in New Hampshire. The free wifi was great and it had excellent signals. If you didn’t like that, the McDonald’s next door had free wifi as well. I definitely will stay here again, if my travels come through this way. Support local! B

Very clean room, price was good $ 80 a night. It’s Easy to find. Right on a main roadway. Next to a McDonalds. We had Basic cable with Showtime in our room. The room also had a small refrigerator a plus. The only beef’s I had was The Card Key Lock on our room was broken. We got locked out twice. We were given a regular key to use. The other was the main light in the room did not work. we used the ones next to the bed no big deal. The Staff was I thought very nice and was attentive to our needs. They do offer the typical free continental breakfast. This Breakfast to me was very impressive for a budget motel. They had toast, cereals, juices and coffee, sausages, scrambled eggs, fresh you make waffles. Plus danish, bagels, & muffins. All you can eat. When something ran out the staff refilled the item. I thought it was an above average place. I have had less at a $ 200 a night room. Parking lot was large and I felt well lit. They are also Wheelchair accessible. If I was to stay in this area again. I would stay here again.

Solid bed-clean room-ok price for high season. Easy to find. Bed was great-clean and firm– maybe they had recently replaced it and gave me a good room but I was pleasantly surprised! Bathroom was clean-found plenty of outlets for cell phones, batteries, computers etc. Room had a small refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Asked for more blankets and were given 2 more clean in plastic blankets. Our room was quiet. They do offer the typical toast, cereals, juices and coffee in the morning. There is a small exercise room off the main lobby. Parking lot was large and I felt well lit. The agent at the desk was not knowlegable about the area– but did offer to help find a locat map and everything else. Would stay again.

If I could give this motel a zero I would. This is the most unprofessional establishment. The reservation agent does not have any manners. We called ahead of time. I told him they were driving over an hour and a half to get to them. He told my friend who was there visiting with his son that they could have a reservation they drove an hour and half and arrived at 4am. When we called we woke the agent up, he could barely speak because he was asleep. He refused to check them in. He hung up on them then refused to answer the phone after that.

In their defense, probably the experience was colored by the fact that it was pouring rain. But rain had nothing to do with the linens that smelled like burning trash(here’s a tip, if your dryer smells like that, have it serviced!), or the fact that we were booked into a room on a floor where they were doing extensive unventilated revarnishing. The service was surly. The room was reasonably clean, but the general ambiance was such that I had the«am I getting bedbugs?» creepy-crawlies all night anyway. Avoid it.
