We’re a music store near Baltimore, MD. You can take private music lessons in our store (including piano and guitar lessons) and we offer a wide selection of band and orchestra instruments that are available to be rented or purchased. There’s a piano gallery featuring Yamaha acoustic pianos in our store. We also do instrument repairs and offer sheet music and other accessories. Financing is also available.
History
Established in 1936.
Menchey Music began in 1936 in Pennsylvania by it’s founder, J. Robert Menchey, who sold a saxophone for a $ 10 profit. Menchey moved to a small shop on York Street in Hanover and he soon began an outside school service music program.
