The law firm of Cossidente & Salus, Ltd. was formed in 2000 by Robert R. Salus, JD, CPA and John G. Cossidente, Jr. The firm generally maintains a staff of 3 paralegals plus an associate attorney. Intially located in Orland Park, the firm moved to Tinley Park in 2005. Cossidente & Salus represents both individuals and businesses located across Illinois in various matters.

Business Owner

Robert R. Salus is a licensed Attorney and Certified Public Accountant and practices primarily in Corporate Law, Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Probate and Real Estate. Mr. Salus has extensive business and tax experience which he utilizes when counseling his clients in business transactions and drafting their estate plan.

Mr. Salus represents clients in the purchase and sale of large businesses, structuring corporations and LLC’s and serves as General Counsel for many businesses located throughout the southern, western and northwestern suburbs. He also represents individuals and business in dealing with debt, including filing for Chapter 7, 11 and 13 Bankruptcy. His tax experience is especially useful when preparing various types of Estate Plans for his clients ranging from simple wills and trusts to complex family limited partnerships. Mr. Salus regularly represents clients in all forms of probate matters, including contested and non-​contested estates and guardians.
