Earlier today, I was going to purchase some couplers for decorating bags(for cupcakes). I was originally going to purchase them online and realized I might as well buy them in store because of shipping costs. My boyfriend calls the store to see if they have them in stock at this location and the girl was like«do we have what?!» And while he was explaining again she interrupted him and said, «I’m referring you to someone else.» Someone else answered and as my boyfriend asked, «hi I was just wondering if you guys had couplers for decorating bags? It’s what you put at the tip of-» «I KNOWWHATTHEYARE. Yes. They’re on stock.» «Okay thanks» Not have a nice day, or anything. First of all, the first girl was just kind of like okay shut up I don’t know what you’re talking about and now this next lady just shuts up my boyfriend. Well sorry but with some of your employees not know what we’re looking for, we’d thought you explain. Get it together and get a better attitude. It’s not like we called and said we were going to kill you.

I went here with my mother this past weekend. The store was your typical Michael’s store. The problem was at checkout. Apparently they re-designed the whole check out process so you have to go through this cattle heard management type of line to get to the register. It wouldn’t be clearly obvious to someone who hasn’t been there since the change exactly where to go to check out. We mentioned to the cashier that the new check-out line system was not desirable and it was not clear how to get to the register. The lady said, rudely, «There’s a sign right there». pointing to a sign at the entrance to the maze that wouldn’t be conspicuous from the main isle. She continued rudely, «It’s been like this since the beginning of September.» I guess gone are the days where customer’s opinions matter. If I’m not rude to someone, I don’t expect them to be rude back. This lady took it personally and made the whole shopping experience a bad one.

I always think of Michael’s first whenever I am doing any kind of craft. Whether it’s crocheting, pumpkin carving, or finding materials to make my boyfriend a noose or a gallows, I always come here. They do have quite a wide range of things you can do for crafts. If you’re looking for something crafty to do that already comes in a box and you jut have to put it together, you may want to shop at Walmart or Toys R Us. But those of us crafty enough can come here to figure things out. I wanted to buy a couple of cylindrical jars, such as the ones you can put sand or pebbles in the bottom to hold candles. Not only did I learn that they have these items, but that you can buy in bulk here as well. So if you’re looking to put center-pieces together for your wedding, I would see what kind of prices you can get here when buying in bulk before going somewhere else or paying out the dupa(sp?) to have someone else decorate for you! Or even if you just want to enter into the Guinness Book of World Records for knitting your Grandma the worlds longest scarf, I would recommend coming here!
