Courtyard Tinton Falls Eatontown

This is a gem of a hotel with outstanding staff! Carin checked us in, gave us advice on where to eat and go while in town, and was extra accommodating during our stay. There was the slightest of inconvenience with construction and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I will be in the area again on business soon and plan to stay at this hotel. Thank you to Carin and the staff for their hard work!

Service wasn’t bad. The hotel smells musty, shower had mold. Carpet is old and dirty. Big spider in bathroom. Not impressed for a Marriot.

One person can make all the difference and Chris, the young man who checked me in was The Man. He had on a Jets jersey (they were playing my Patriots on Thursday Night Football) and we got talking. Chris invited me to come down to the lobby to watch the game with «all of us» and I said I would. Well, «all of us» turned out to be his mom and dad and they brought chicken wings and soda. Amazing! I’m giving this hotel a 5 star rating based on Chris alone!!!

Awful stay. Not only was the room dirty but they charged us incorrectly. The tub was a disgusting shade of yellow and we found loose buttons near the bed along with bottle caps. The fridge was sticky and dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned ever! My husband bedside table also had sticky residue all over it. It wasn’t a very pleasant stay since everything grossed us out. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

Clean, reasonable rates and ridiculously friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here on way through to Jersey shore vacation and would definitely pick this spot again. Kids enjoyed the pool, front desk helped us find a gluten free friendly restaurant, made the reservations for us and printed out directions

I stayed here for my sister’s wedding, and things definitely started out on the wrong foot when they charged the wrong card (my mother had called to change the card it was on but they hadn’t entered it into the system) and I had a $ 410 hold unnecessarily put on my credit card. Then we dropped our things off and didn’t see the room in detail until when we got back that evening– complete with lipstick stain on our comforter. We didn’t notice it until midnight and were too tired to do anything about it so we pushed it down really far & went to sleep. In the morning I noticed multiple hairs in the shower that couldn’t have belonged to either of us since we hadn’t showered yet. Complained at the front desk before rolling out for the day where they said they would reclean our room. Great!
Only they didn’t. They remade the bed & maybe hosed down the shower, but nothing else changed which we noticed when we got back at 11:30 at night. The night staff who were horrified and immediately changed out bedsheets & comforter are the only reason there are any stars at all. Just noticed another stain and more hairs in the shower this morning and decided I would write this review. If you’re staying here, make sure that your sheets and shower are clean before you go anywhere else because the staff might not have bothered to change them.

We stayed Mothers Day weekend and enjoyed everything. GREAT hotel staff that was very helpful with all our needs. We had perfect room close to ice machine, laundry, the courtyard, & exits to parking lot. We enjoyed our room & the stay. Definitely will stay again. They have the Most Comfy Beds EVER! Convenient to everything and a short drive to the beach.

We had a great stay here. Very opposite the reviews on here. Our room was clean and staff was extremely friendly. Definitely will stay again when we visit family!

Beautiful establishment with very small rooms. We reserved a queen with a rollaway bed for one night, when we arrived the front desk stated we DON’T provide rollaways. The manager a very young inexperienced man, did not know what to do as there was only one room left and it was a king with a pullout sofa at a higher price. He was stuck for about ten minutes with not a clue. Then came Gina (seemed to have a lot more knowledge and experience in customer service) and saved the night, she was pleasant and accommodating. Reservations screwed up but staff (Gina) made up for it. Oh, no free breakfast, that sucks!!!

Let’s just say I WILL NOT be staying here again.
I came here for a business trip recently and decided to come here over the DoubleTree across the street, due to it’s proximity to restaurants. When we first checked in I asked for my usual King size bed room. I was told that I booked two Queen beds. uhm no, my profile says King and that’s always what I do. Regardless, I was told they only had a King size bed for one of the two nights I was staying. OK, no problem, I’m a Platinum memebr. Give me the King. She didn’t know how to do that. lol Oh well, no King size bed for me.
The lobby looks like it was recently refurbished, but the rooms are still circa late 1980’s complete with water stains on the ceilings. Oh, and you do not get any breakfast whatsoever, not even coffee. If you want a great breakfast, new rooms, and awesome customer service, stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton across the street!

This was by far the worse experience I have ever had. Customer service was horrible!!! I’d say hi to house keeping as I were leaving or coming and no response. They were extremely loud so I figured they’d say hi since they were chatty enough to wake me up everyday. The front desk sucked. I was there for a good month assisting with storm Sandy so I got a pretty good feel for this place. I would have left but every place in the area was booked out due to the storm. There was one guy (Matt?) who I actually prefered to work with, who cooked me some wings but he kindof seem to be all over the place. Not sure he even had a title but he was the only friendly one and he cooked up a new menu item for the group of guys I was working with in the foyer to try.

Slightly whack. No free breakfast, outdoor pool only, gym on second floor… which I didn’t know existed because it isn’t well advertised/​directed. Rooms are moderately-​sized, mine had a fridge, no microwave. The covers… are really thin?
However – their Bistro (you have to pay for it) «we serve Starbucks» place inside the hotel was pretty nice. I got the Healthy Start egg white biscuit sandwich… amazzinnggg. The cappuccino wasn’t very good, though. There are plenty of other eating places right across the street, so that’s a plus. And the outlets are barely 15 minutes away :-D

I just spent two days at the Courtyard visiting a nearby client. According to the front desk I was probably the only non FEMA guest.
This Courtyard has the updated lobby with a Starbucks (hooray). The hotel is close to the highway and many restaurants are nearby. The fitness center was well equipped and clean. Having the complementary coffee station is welcome for those of us who awake at 0 dark thirty. My room was comfortable and equipped with a large HDTV and fridge.
If you have business in the area this property is a good option.

Very comfortable bed. I slept right through the night which doesn’t happen very often. Bathroom was a nice size. I didn’t feel cramped at all. The refridgerator and microwave were nice to have. I do like the layout of the hotel. it’s more like a full service hotel than a Courtyard. There were many other hotels to choose from. I’m glad I picked this one.

Great hotel, with caring staff, a clean room, and nice facilities, including a beautiful pool. Breakfast buffet was tasty.
I was a little disappointed that the «Groom’s Suite» was just a regular hotel room, though, and that the room wasn’t ready when I checked in. They comped my breakfast to make up for the room not being ready, but I just wanted to check in.

I’ve stayed in most of the Marriotts in this area… and here is my breakdown of the room:
Pros:
+ in-​room microwave to heat up those pesky leftovers
+ fan in the bathroom
+ ipod dock to crank out the tunes
Cons:
— Rooms are TINY. I almost felt like I was living in a prison cell. There’s probably about 2 feet of space between each piece of furniture. I stayed in a room with 1 king, so it may be different if you have the two queen setup.
— No wireless. The wired broadband is very fast, but you can only connect one computer at a time. If you were staying with a group of friends (if you can fit that many people in the room), then it would be a problem
— The hotel is right next to the train tracks. Luckily I was here for one night, but it would definitely bother me if I was awoken from my beauty sleep with a passing train

I really liked this place. Clean, fresh atmosphere. Nu fuss decorations, lots of light. The beds can be cushier. There were microwaves and a mini-​fridge in the rooms, which was nice.
Breakfast service was the highlight… exceptional service and very friendly staff. Great deal.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a total of over two months when visiting a client in the area — one time I stayed for one consecutive month!
The place is not all modern and glitzy — but it is comfortable. The restaurant serves breakfast only, including a pretty good breakfast buffet. I usually opted for a high fiber cereal and skim milk and fruit, but every once in a while I would break down and go for the eggs, potatoes, bacon, and corned beef hash!
Broadband internet access is available in every room. I toted up my entire Power Mac G5 tower and 23″ Apple Display the month I stayed there.
The staff are very friendly and go out of your way to assist you. I got to know many of them on a first name basis after staying there for so long.
The lobby area is comfortable with chairs and couches and you can watch TV in the lounge if you feel the need to get out of your room for a bit. They also offer a pantry where you can get snacks and drinks, and there is coffee service and papers available in the lounge area as well.
A coin operated washer and dryer is available for those who need to do laundry as I did. The exercise room is not a whole lot to look at.
