Specialties

I have approximately 40 years of sewing and crafting experience! If you have a need for alterations, hemming, zipper repair, custom clothing, holiday or special event dresses, kids clothing, little girls dresses (my favorite) or crafts from crocheted top kitchen towels to aprons, tee shirt quilts and afghans… I am the person that you should contact! Along with sewing, alterations and crafts you will find homemade fishing lures from Black Swamp Musky Hunters. There are bucktails, spinner baits and assorted other lures for musky, northern pike, walleye and many other species of fish. You will have the opportunity to purchase my books as well, they are Innocent Victim and A Twist in the River. We look forward to working with you!

History

Established in 1992.

I have been sewing since I was a young girl about 10 or 12 years old and over the years I have made my own clothes… my childrens clothes as well as wedding dresses, formal wear dresses for adults and children and so many craft items that I could never list them all. I crochet and have made numerous afghans that make great heirloom gifts. Recently I created two queen size quilts that were made from tee shirts that have become wonderful and useful memories of highschool years for two sisters. My imagination runs rampid… and when I think something up… well, I create it. Also, I have made aprons for dish soap bottles, water bottles and hand sanitizer bottles. They are so cute. If you have a custom idea that you would like me to make for you… send me an e-mail at sherrie@auntsherriescraftsnsuch.com.

Along with the crafts, alterations, sewing and creating with fabric and yarn, I am a published author. You will find my books available on the website as well. My first book is Innocent Victim — When I was 18 years old I was a rape victim who became pregnant and chose to give my child up for adoption. It was a secret that I kept for over 30 years. My next book is titled A Twist in the River which is the first in a series of outdoor adventures that that take place in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was a lot of fun to write and a great story to read.
